We had a great stay at this small family motel. Perfect, ideal location. It’s quiet- but a short drive to little family owned restaurants. We spent time at the beach and a day at Block Island- and loved this as our home base.

You can’t beat the Anchor Motel! Quiet, quaint, and right across the street from the beach. Your own beach access. My husband and I have been to Narragansett four times and we have learned that the Anchor Motel is our favorite place to stay. Also - great coffee each morning!

Location -great, close to beaches, restaurants, attractions. Policy said NO DOGS, NO SMOKING, HOWEVER, guests had dogs, & there were people smoking in rooms !!! We chose the motel on reviews, not the place for those who desire smoke/animal free rooms. Breakfast was donuts/coffee---NO Decaf !!!

Hi- we are glad to hear you enjoyed the location of our motel. Our policy is 100% no smoking in rooms, although we do allow people to smoke on their porch outside, as long as they are not disturbing anyone. We do allow dogs in the off season, usually starting October 1st, however a few very well behaved dogs were allowed in this week. Should you choose to stay here again, please voice your dislike with pets and we will be sure to keep you separated. Thanks again for staying with us - we will consider decaf coffee for future guests as well. Best Regards, Christine

The Anchor Motel is our favorite little getaway spot. The motel is the cleanest and the owners are very friendly. Scarborough beach is just across the road. Would definitely recommend staying here. Plenty of nearby restaurants and shops also.

I have been coming to this cozy motel to share 'mother/daughter time with my younger daughter and to relax at the beach. This place is nestled across the road from Scarborough Beach. The rooms in the motel are clean and each have a deck where you can sit and enjoy the view and a chat. I plan on returning to the Anchor Motel as it is reasonable, the owners are very friendly and the place is kept clean.
