We’ve been going to the Breezeway Resort for 5 years and love it! The last 2 yrs we’ve made it a family vacation, the pool is heated and convenient for the grandkids when they need a break from the beach.
The staff is friendly, rooms are very well kept, the grounds are beautifully maintained.
Prices are comparable to other hotels, I suggest booking as early as possible to get the best rates, when booking online choose the weekly rate, when staying a week you also get a free night.
The private parking and beach area is a great perk. No hassles ! The property also has bbq grills, you can borrow their bikes, there is an outdoor game area with shuffle board, cor hole, and a large connect 4 game. They also have books and games you can borrow. This is truly a family oriented resort.

We booked the 2-bedroom deluxe suite at the last minute for an overnight stay with family. We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely and spotless and spacious suite with two beautifully appointed bathrooms. The suite was painted in lovely beach-like hues of cream and aqua, the furniture was nicely updated, and we were impressed with how clean everything was. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast very convenient. The pool was refreshing and the nearby private beach a plus. We even made reservations at the Breezeway's sister hotel, which was an 11-minute walk for dinner, and it was fabulous. We'll definitely be back. Such a nice place to stay near Misquamicut and other area beaches. Lovely features and very well managed. Five stars.

It's the thoughtful details provided by the management ( or owners) that made me feel this place is so special. I will be back! Clean as clean can be and the bed sheets and bath towels smelled so fresh and lovely, congrats to the laundry service, too often I've sniffed bleachy scents but not here. A Roku tv to stream my content. Trash and recycling bins situated in strategic locations that do not detract from the park like grounds, allow guests to clean up easily from a meal or snack at any of the picnic areas available. Each room has window SCREENS to catch the sea breeze and to let us hear the waves crashing at night. Restrooms and a foot shower at the private beach access...I don't want to reveal all the niceties here, you should find them yourself.

I chose this place because it had an accessible room and due to the location near the beach. I am a wheelchair user who does not stand or walk. Room was very clean and nice. The free continental breakfast was fine with me as I don't care for breakfast foods such as bacon and eggs. Location is great as very close to the beach and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and in a very flat neighborhood easy for pushing my wheelchair. Located in pleasant residential neighborhood. Could not use the private beach as no beach wheelchair or beach mat there. Went to Misquamicut State Beach which is a short way down the road which does have beach wheelchairs. Pool area was accessible but did not see any pool lift to get in and out. A thing about accessible rooms in hotels is that they are all different and you don't know what to expect. This one had a nice large bathroom, toilet a bit too low, sink you can get your knees under but it's a bit high, can't see in mirror but there is a full length mirror in the bedroom. It has a roll in shower. Usually these showers have a seat attached to the wall. (we do not shower in our wheelchairs). Sometimes there's a problem with the seat placement - it's too far away to reach the water controls. This shower had no seat. I brought my own so not a problem for me but asked the office just to see if they provide one and they said no. So to anyone who wants to stay here and has no standing ability, bring your own shower chair. The bed height is excellent for wheelchair users (many hotels have excessively high beds) and is a very comfortable bed too. Plenty of fresh towels provided.

This is not a resort; it's a motel. The grounds are well maintained but the rooms are very small. We were in a king room and it was tiny. We selected Breezeway based on the reviews extolling its cleanliness. Unfortunately this was not the case. My wife commented on the dirtiness of the bottom of my feet after a shower. All I had done was walk around the room. She proceeded to wet some napkins and wiped a small area of the laminate floor. When we looked at the napkin it was filthy. It was obvious that the floor had not been mopped in quite some time. The A/C was not very efficient therefore the room always felt damp and nothing dried. Needless to say we will not be going back. When we checked out all of this was brought to the attention of the person manning the front desk and she expressed her apologies .On a positive note the lifeguard at the beach was an exceptional young woman.

Just returned from a 3-day stay & will highly recommend the Breezeway. Set in a quiet residential neighborhood abt 3 blocks from the beach. We stayed in room 116 across from the heated pool. The room was very clean & quiet, had 2 comfortable queen beds, would bring my own pillow next time. The gardens & fountains throughout the property are beautifully maintained, actually the entire resort was in tiptop condition. Simple but ample breakfast--bagels, engl muffins, hard boiled eggs, orange juice, coffee & tea. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful & professional.

Overall, the room was very clean with laminate flooring. We were in the main building bottom floor. It smelled a little bleachy which isn’t a bad thing, kind of like the YMCA. Beds and pillows were comfortable. White sheets and comforters. Plenty of towels including beach towels. No water upon arrival or in the rooms. There is a small fridge and microwave, plastic cups and ice bucket. When we arrived the pool area was inundated with kids so it was noisy which is to be expected. The main building is a 2 story motel with parking in front of the rooms. As a couple, probably better to stay in the couples row a little removed from the towels hanging on the chairs outside the rooms and having to stare at cars if you did want to sit outside your room. At night it was quiet. Smoking is permitted outside the rooms which I did not realize. The email we received said smoking is prohibited in pool area but said nothing about allowing smoking outside of rooms which our neighbors did so it was gross. Couldn’t open the window since smoking was right outside our window. I haven’t stayed in a place that has allowed smoking in I don’t know how long. We walked to dinner which was close by. That was a plus. The private beach is small and you can park there. It’s about .2 mile down the road easily walkable. Too many people and smelled like ketchup and hotdogs at the beach. Convenient I’m sure for some but just not our scene. Also the breakfast during Covid was not comfortable. Too many people grabbing for items and the toaster area was just way too jammed up using the bagel cutter without wiping down after using it etc. so I grabbed a yogurt and left. Would I stay here again? No not as a couple. I’m sure as a family this is a great place. Very friendly person at check in and nice security guard. For $400 incl tax I would have liked water in the room, no smoking and a safer and better breakfast.

We’ve been coming to the Breezeway for about 5 years. Every visit is truly a vacation! With the ocean only three blocks away it is easily walkable. Surrounding roads are relatively flat, a joy for biking for us elder folks.
Best of all, are the staff who work at the Breezeway. Whether on the phone (Maddy was very helpful when we booked our reservation)or in person the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
On this most recent trip, interactions with Emily made our morning breakfasts special. She reached out to each and every person who came into the breakfast area, making them feel welcome and at home.
We look forward to September 2023 when we will again vacation at the Breezeway!

This our second year in a row staying at Breezeway. We love it here. Staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable, and having a pool is a plus. Of all the surrounding places to stay we’d pick Breezeway over any of them. Just a few blocks from the beach and only 10 minutes from Canal Street which has some good restaurants, specifically the Cafe. We highly recommend going there for a great dinner.

Hi, I'm not the owner but stayed here. The beach is walking distance, and it is helpful to have a cart or wagon to take your items along because it is long enough to not want to "carry" but easy walk, the beach has a private area hosted by the Breezeway too so there is a bathroom there, and parking if you'd rather drive. The bars in town are walk-able, and as far as wineries, I don't think they are close. This hotel is part-family like, very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Loud noise is probably a no-no at night. There is an in-ground pool which is nice. We went as a couple with no kids and liked it - convenient, quiet, clean, and not far from the beach!
