I have visited and stayed at Heritage Hills 20+ times. The overnight accommodations are very nice. Not 5 star luxury, but still very very nice. The food offerings and bar scene is worth going for. They have made recent modifications to the Bar & restaurant...More
Stayed for a wedding weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. Golf course was great, bar was perfect, and the breakfast was great for a hangover cure! If anyone is traveling from afar, and are debating bringing your clubs, leave them at home! They offer good inexpensive...More
Prompt service and friendly too! Drinks were on point and he always takes care of the customer. There were some unruly customers and yet he handled situation perfectly. Been here several times and the service is consistent. Thanks AJ
Our room was in excellent condition and no issues whatsoever. Had a room that overlooked the golf course and restaurant. Enjoyed free live band in the evening outside on the patio of the Knickers Pub that is part of the resort.
This place would be easy to drive by, but don't! The golf course is challenging and beautiful. The hotel is a bit outdated, but comfortable and immaculate. The restaurant has great service and great food. It was like going to camp for a weekend. There...More

The Harley Davidson factory is about 5 miles north and offers tours. My in-laws are not bikers, but they had a lot of fun. York has a minor league baseball team that plays in the historic downtown (the Articles of Confederation were drafted in York, so there are historical markers and buildings from pre-Revolutionary War).
Gettysburg National Park is 35 miles west. Hershey, PA (35 miles north) has an amusement park and chocolate exhibits. Codorus State Park (25 miles southwest) offers all the classic summer fishing/hiking/boating recreations around a big lake. Several museums (e.g. watches/clocks and railroads) are in and around historic Lancaster town (25 miles east).
And yes, Lancaster county has tourist-friendly Amish and Mennonite sites and shopping (produce, dairy, woodworking, antiques, textiles). But if it's summer, I'd recommend just getting lost on back roads to the east and south of Lancaster town. That's the Pennsylvania Dutch land that is so pretty--highways 23, 340, 772, and anything smaller than those. And watch out for horse-drawn buggies on the roads!
