Karen and Tom are gracious hosts and were extremely knowledgeable about the area. They made recommendations for restaurants and let us know the best times to visit the farmer's market. The entire house was spotless and well-organized. Our room was large and had extra pillows and blankets - everything we needed to be comfortable. Breakfast was delicious both mornings and since we were the only guests on the Saturday night/Sunday morning we stayed, Karen gave us our choice of what to have for breakfast which was very nice. It was very cold during our stay so we didn't wander around outside too much but from what we saw of the property, it was very nice. The only downside was the sound of traffic coming from the street since the house is on the main throughway that goes to the downtown Lancaster area. It got a little noisy sometimes since our room faced the street. Closing the door to the living room area helped curb the noise so we were still fine. We're looking forward to our next stay!

Thank you for you thorough review. We appreciate your taking the time to let others know what a great place the Apple Bin Inn is. Please ask for our white noise device on your next visit. It works great as a traffic deterrent in the Gala Suite. We look forward to seeing you again the next time you are in Lancaster County.

This is a lovely property and we very much enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights in the Braeburn Cottage - very spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was very good and served at the perfect time for us The danger here is we (the other guests as well as us) would get so engrossed in the morning conversations that we would forget we had places to go. Tom and Karen have wonderful stories about the house and the area and will help you find the perfect way to spend your day.I hope we will have a chance to get back. Thank you both!

This is the second time I stayed at the Apple Bin Inn and I consider it my home away from home. Tom and Karen are caring and helpful innkeepers; they are very knowledgeable about the area's attractions and events. Accommodations and homemade breakfast are excellent. I look forward to my next visit! Marie

We have recently had a four night stay at the Apple Bin Inn. Tom and Karen were perfect hosts, very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed for the perfect stay. It was lovely meeting with other guests at breakfast and sitting round the fire pit for a lovely conversational evening. Everything is close by and we would highly recommend staying there.

We were met by Karen and taken to our MacIntosh room. Spotlessly clean, every amenity and more that we could want! A fridge, basket of goodies, local information, lovely shower, comfy bed! Nicely decorated, and historically decorated -- in our room and in the main house. Lots of yard to walk around in, a labyrinth, a playground, a garden -- access to all of it! There were two wooden gliders and a swing right outside our door, and one day we spent a pleasant morning in the screened porch off the garage -- napping, reading, listening to the carillon nearby. And breakfast!!! Oh my goodness!! Gourmet meals -- a starter each time: first morning was a watermelon, cucumber, feta salad and then cheesesteak eggs that were like a soufflé, and poundcake -- so delicious! The next morning was "brain" food -- a starter of avocado, raisins, apple, walnuts in a cinnamon honey sauce. Then blueberry french toast and bacon that was more than we could eat! Karen and Tom are delightful hosts, and we hope to make an annual trip to their Apple Bin Inn!
