A nice hotel that is remodeling the rooms. Our room was very nice and had walkin shower. The new rooms will be nicer. A lot of the restaurants were closed but we had an awesome but pricey dinner at their steak house restauarnt.
Based on a recent stay, sounding fair warning for anyone visiting or staying at the hotel. Hotel guests are charged a nightly resort fee (currently $15) however the amenities that are noted under the fee are not available including fitness center and pool (neither have reopened since the property was closed for pandemic reasons in 2020). The resulting exchange with guest services left a lot to be desired, clearly they don’t care that they’re ripping guests off. Additionally if you are arriving by car and are physically handicapped, need luggage assistance, or both, there are no valet parking services anywhere on the property, nor are bellmen available. Handicapped parking spaces are plentiful but atop a hill, some a distance from the hotel entrance. While a shuttle is available if you call for a pickup, luggage assistance is limited. It’s sad to see how this property has slid over the years and takes nothing but an apathetic view toward their guests.…
Slots don't pay, just take and take! Food choices are slim. Rooms are ok, no refrigerator. Better off going somewhere else, any where but here. We won't be back, can't get a comp room even if you spend $1000. I expect SOME fun when I gamble.....
We enjoyed the casino new machines and clean as can be. The race track was a plus and bot what food options from cheap food court to five start restaurants. It was east to get players cards and every slot machine was working as weel as the cash out machines.
I love the location and the atmosphere. But , the workers there are so awful. All the workers want to do is harass people. And security plus management are terrible, a lot of people I know had so many issues with both of them . Security is awful and they make you feel so uncomfortable trying to come in , if you look young . I get they have to be sure your of age, but they sure know how to harass you well enough to make you feel embarrassed !!!! I loved to go and visit often but I had enough, Im reconsidered visiting again!!!!
First time at this location, not large like the CT casino we normally go to. Very friendly and helpful staff, Very good perks for new player card, Payout was not bad, was able to play slots a long time and came out $10 ahead, all for fun not a big player. Some very good restaurants, would return again if in the area. Did not stay at hotel, casino only
Nice casino This one was average in payouts. Not real tight and not loose either. You could get some small wins while playing. It wouldn't just eat all your money spin after spin, but don't expect to walk out with much more than you came in with. At least you can play a while on your money.
Hotel room was filthy. Visible dirt on beds and walls. Room wasn't vacuumed or dusted recently. They moved us to a different room which wasn't much better. Stains and handprints all over walls. Disgusting. Hotel does have nice dining options and convention center was nice and clean. Excellent food. Too bad housekeeping for rooms is less than adequate.
I love Mohegan Sun Pocono! I'm a 20-minute drive from the place. It's much more convenient than going to Atlantic City. The rooms are comfy. I like the center bar to play Joker Poker! Plenty of posh restaurants!
This property is getting worse and worse by the day. The Spa has not reopened; the sushi restaurant has not reopened; housekeeping doesn’t clean rooms for extended stays: and to top things off, they are PERMANENTLY CLOSING Bar Louie. Sorry, but no services and no amenities means no customers! Time to revisit what “customer service” means….
