We were looking for an affordable place to stay that would be clean, comfortable, and not sketchy. This definitely fits the bill. It’s not fancy, but it’s definitely a bargain. Bed was comfortable and it sent back from the street so it was extremely quiet. Get a room that faces the back and you’ll have a lovely View of a green field And private patio with a patio set, which is far better than most hotels which give you a view of the parking lot. I was under the impression from previous reviews that there would be a basic continental breakfast but they must have gotten rid of that. That’s OK; I highly recommend you have breakfast at Nudy’s a mile or so away. I’m at the cleaning lady who was very sweet and helpful. They have a cleaning card at the end of the hall so you just grab more towels and toilet paper as you need it which we did for our two days stay. Having a full kitchen with a fridge and microwave was a nice plus. Note: They do not have a front desk so they text you a code to get in. I never got a code because they apparently got my number wrong so when we got there we didn’t think we would be able to get in, and when we called a couple of times the call never went through. When it finally did the manager was very apologetic and let us in. Not a problem but I definitely recommend that if you haven’t gotten a text the day before your arrival that you give them a call. Bottom line for this hotel: it’s not fancy so know what to expect, but considering the price, about 100 bucks a night, it’s a good place to stay.…
I was unfortunately unable to stay at this hotel mid April and I prepaid but due to the pandemic had to cancel. They did not refund the amount but did agree to bank the amount for future visit. I stayed at Brinton Hotel late July but at check in I forgot about the amount banked and gave them my bank card and was charged for that stay. I IMMEDIATELY told Dawn at the front desk that I made a mistake and there should have been no charge. She assured me that $111.00 would be refunded within a few days on my card. After 3 phone calls and promises to send me the amount since I paid TWICE for a one night stay it is now 5 weeks later and I have not received my refund. I have stayed often at this hotel but NEVER AGAIN. I do not appreciate being ripped off.
Stayed here 1 night to go to Longwood Gardens. Room was very clean, bathroom was very nice and the kitchenette with large fridge, induction top stove, microwave and coffee pot were just perfect for us. They gave coffee packets with dry Creamer, sugar and sweet and low. We used our own. We cooked our own breakfast so I can't say how the CB was. Would stay here again. We pulled the little table in from the patio to eat at. I think if the TV'S were hung their would be room for a small table and 2 chairs. Nice little place. The gardens were 10 easy miles away.
Comfortable and extremely clean. For a long weekend or even longer, the kitchenette is perfect. Employees are awesome and personable, other guests were really nice too. Breakfast was scant, but we made our own coffee in the room and aren't breakfast eaters anyways. Good price, and not a bad location except for massive road construction all over the area....not hotel's doing of course. Free WiFi and cable are a nice touch, as are some rooms with patios or balconies.
Our stay was great. It was my birthday weekend and my husband contacted the property before we went to arrange some birthday goodies for me. When I got there the property manager had purchased flower,s chocolates, a card and balloons on behalf of my husband but also gave me a sweet little potted plant and a card signed by all the employees. We met the onsite maintenance man, the property manager, and the receptionist and they were all so sweet, kind and genuine. The room was extremely clean and our deck was nice and had a nice view of the country side. The only downside to me would be no elevator to the second floor. Property is set back from the road and very quiet.
