I am happy to say that they have upgraded and improved the place considerably. It is a clean, comfortable place for a reasonable price, not fancy but quite adequate. The breakfast was fine and WI-FI was good as well. Staff was courteous and efficient.
We stayed here last year because it is close to my in-laws, who live in a retirement community. It was bad last year and no better this year. The whole place smells bad...sour, chemical-ly, damp, moldy, musty...anything but good. The key card system sucks. Takes several tries to open the doors. Our room had the WORST cigarette odor. It’s a good thing we didn’t spend any time beyond sleeping and showers. The sleeping was difficult because of the inefficient a/c and the humming and vibrating of the mini-fridge. I will never, ever use this motel again. Cheap is one thing, but it doesn’t have to be nasty.
Front desk never answer the calls, dirty room, no soap, no shampoo, toilet clogged and they told me, no maintenance service working, I have to do it by my self, the housekeepers talking louder between them every single morning at 7 for 1 hour, I'm not recommend this hotel.
I have been pleasantly pleased with each and every stay. The completeness and the cleanness of the room has remained and important fact in my choice. I can recommend it very highly and the rate is always a competitive on which is important as I am responsible to pay it out of my own pocket.
You get what you pay for. This is a mediocre property for a cheaper price. Somehow, although the property was clean, it manages to appear dirty, or at least dingy. The front desk is often not staffed as the desk clerk has to do other things. The workout room has no weights and looks as if an old gym dumped a bunch of cardio equipment in there that they no longer needed. The breakfast was fine, but pretty minimal. Heating system comes on at night to wake you up.
