I loved Burgundy Lane. I have found true friends in Margaret and Dave. My best friend and I were planning to attend our 45th High School reunion in Waynesboro. I was so hoping to find a B and B in Waynesboro. I thought the hominess of a B and B would add a special touch to a special event. It... More

I stay with Margaret & Dave while visiting family in Waynesboro and I can't say enough about how wonderful their home is. This is the nicest B&B's I've stayed in. Margaret & Dave make you feel like famiy and I love their dog Sonny! Margaret's breakfasts are outstanding and quite unique each day! Everything is excellent!

My husband and I are hiking the Applachain Trail and this property was listed in the guide book. We called and the owner promptly picked us up at the trail head. He offered to take us to resupply at a local grocery store. I had a stiff knee from hiking and he was helpful in pointing out the Urgent Care... More

A fantastic BnB about 30 minutes from Gettysburg Battlefield (you are close enough to get to the battlefield easilly, but avoid the high tourist markup of staying in Gettysburg). Our greeting at the front door was by an adorable Corgi, and it only got better! The proprietors were friendly and very solicitous, willing to let us borrow their personal Gettysburg... More

Excellent rooms, service and breakfast. I wish Dave and Margaret lived closer, they are great people! They went above and beyond in helping make our vacation the best I have ever taken in the U.S. John and Linda Wolfe

We arrived fairly late at knight (pun intended) and were immediately greeted by David. He assisted us with our luggage and showed us our room. We stayed in the Castle room which is absolutely beautiful. Everything down to the "no smoking sign" was in character. In the morning coffee was on and breakfast was simply delicious, Margaret makes a mean... More

Stayed here after being shuttled from the Appalachian Trail by owner, Dave. Friendly and knowledgeable, Dave washed my dirty clothes right away, and was hospitable. Restaurants and stores just out the front door yet quiet inside or sit out on the back porch. Tea and coffee 24/7. No problem shuttling back to the AT. Owners have run it for 16... More

Stayed at Burgundy Lane one night going to Gettysburg the next day. What a pleasant surprise to a very unassuming B&B. Dave and Margret were most accommodating and helpful at every turn. The rooms all have themes and we stayed in the Castle Room...very amusing and clever. Great king bed, wonderful TV and well appointed bath with most everything thought... More

We elected to stay at the Burgundy Lane B&B as part of our visit to Gettysburg battlefield about 45 minutes drive away. We were met on arrival by David our host and were immediately made to feel so welcome and directed to the free private off-road parking at the rear. Our African themed room was perfect with a huge comfortable... More

The home is decorated beautifully. The breakfast was lovely and delicious. The rating of 5 is a result of the personality and character of the owners. This B&B is located conveniently between Gettysburg and Antietam. It is also a convenient location for those hiking the Appalachian Mountains.
