This is the best place to stay while visiting the mountains in South Western Pa. the grounds and rooms are incredible. We loved the firepit that Bill has set up and Nancy's breakfast are most wonderful. This is a must stay.
We planned a weekend away to enjoy outdoor recreation and see Fallingwater, and had a lovely three-night stay at this charming B & B. Nancy and Bill are very welcoming hosts, and the breakfast every morning was delicious. Our room was cosy and charming. Although the inn is in Uniontown, it was only about 20 to 25 minutes away from 2 Frank Lloyd Wright properties (Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob), and from Ohiopyle state park -- with great hiking and biking and white water rafting. We didn't really take advantage of the grounds at the B&B itself, but they are beautiful -- and there is even a fire pit that is stocked and ready for guests to use. We also felt very comfortable with our hosts' precautions for the pandemic -- everything in the room had clearly been sanitized (towels, toilet paper, etc. were wrapped in plastic), there were hand-sanitizing stations in the common areas, tables in the breakfast area were spaced well-apart (with empty tables as buffers), and our hosts -- and all the guests -- were good about wearing masks in the common areas (except while actually eating the delicious breakfast).…
My wife and I spent three nice, relaxing nights at this lovely and historic gem in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. The hosts, Bill and Nancy, have worked hard on their place and it shows in all the details that one begins so to see as they explore the buildings and property. My wife Susan, commented how it warmed her heart and she could almost feel the blood, sweat, tears and joy that have gone into this labor of love. I agree with her as it obvious to see the while one browses around the grounds observing the details. Bill and Nancy have met and exceeded the current Covid-19 protocols too. Every towel, glass, cup, coffee mug, TV remote, etc. was cleaned and wrapped in plastic and the "Four Seasons" room was spotless as far as we could tell...and we're fairly picky. Breakfasts were excellent and Nancy dealt with Susan's dietary restrictions (gluten) seamlessly. We purchased a few souvenirs from the lobby as well. There are some very special custom hand-thrown/wheeled coffee mugs made by a local potter and also a nice selection of local maple syrup...which I'm a sucker for! The Inn at Watson's Choice is located near A BUNCH of historically significant sites including two notable Frank Lloyd Wright homes and important U.S. historical sites. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area and we highly recommend it.…
We visited this B&B recently and had a very relaxing stay. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The grounds are picture perfect. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating. A bonus to our stay was having an evening bonfire (all the wood, etc. was provided by the B&B).
This is our second stay at this quaint inn. Nancy and Bill are so hospitable and put themselves into the inn. The grounds are lovely and we love the fire pit. Yummy breakfasts too! The location is excellent if you are touring the highlands and Fallingwater. Thank you!!
