This is a great place to stay and Paul is the best innkeeper we've met among the B&Bs we stayed in from coast to coast over the last 2-3 decades. It felt like a welcoming comfortable stay with a friend. This is the place I will pick to stay when I visit family in the area in the future. Thanks...

Our host Paul was ready to handle all our needs - from a variety of ages in our group to dietary requirements. Such a fantastic house with an interesting history. Highly recommended.

Myself and several other railroad industry professionals stayed at Stony Point before attending a conference in Philadelphia. This was a great place to stay, as it allowed us to visit the Horseshoe Curve and several other railroad historical sites over the weekend. We enjoyed the fact that Stony Point B&B has some railroad history of its own, as it was...

Last week my husband and I were guests at Stony Point for three nights, and for the most part had the place to ourselves. What a great experience, and Paul was such a wonderful host! He made us feel right at home and treated us like friends. Stony Point is a beautiful, and well kept place. The history and details...

I was visiting my hometown of Tyrone, PA, recently and decided to venture over to the Stony Point. I was told the innkeeper, Paul, loved to give "locals" the tour. It's sad to say that I never knew this beautiful home was here. Paul warmly greeted me and engaged me in conversation about the history of the home as he...

Whats the magical ingredient that makes so many people like staying at this place? Is it the facility itself? Its very nice, but that's not it. Is the breakfast special? Delicious, but again that's not it. Most bed and breakfasts have innkeepers who make a reasonable effort to make their guest feel welcome. What makes this place so special is...

We were simply looking for a place to stay overnight while traveling from Norfolk to Niagara Falls, and had the FANTASTIC fortune to discover this great Inn. Paul, the Innkeeper, is a super guy, and has a clear passion for making sure that his guests feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have already made plans to return....

If you're looking for a place near Altoona or State College that's charming and quiet, this is the place for you. Paul took great care of my family during a recent stay for a family funeral. Seeing as Tyrone doesn't even have a motel, this place is gold. Beautiful setting, classy and nice on the inside, this historic home was...

The Innkeeper Paul welcomed us in & eagerly showed us about. The beauty & old world charm of the Inn warmed our hearts. So much symbolism of an era; long lost, but so much alive at Stony Point. As we walked, I pictured myself & my soul mate, Mikel, standing in front of the fireplace & pledging our eternal love to...

As other reviewers have commented, this B&B is a delight. It was by lucky accident that I found this accomodation online and booked it as we were driving from Ontario down to Washington DC. Paul is the ultimate host, and we were treated immediately like good friends. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed learning of its history. Our room...
