Stayed on first floor last weekend for one night. I can see that at one point, the rooms were probably great. But, the room was in bad shape. Drab. Not enough bright lights. Needs to be updated. Needs fresh paint on walls. Bathroom ceiling tile...More

Hi, Shadowbrook Staff!
Looking forward to a great golf outing weekend with our family, this coming Labor Day weekend. I'm hoping that you're paying attention to your TripAdvisor reviews, as we see them often and write here as well. One of the things we note is that the tap water has a fairly sulfurous odor and taste. True?
Planning on bringing our own bottled water for drinking on the golf course, but wondering if this is true for showering. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't recall an odor, but you may want to bring or buy bottled water locally. Most of the area runs off well water. Depending water table levels the water can change. You will only be a short drive from town. There is a darling little old fashioned grocery store called Brick's market. I would not waste the space of bringing water but I would certainly go to Brick's to buy it.
