I tried to figure out if there is any vacancy for the upcoming weekend, but the front desk lady was not willing to talk over the phone to make a reservation - my guess because I have a slight accent. Very disappointing and should be addressed by the manager.

I gave short notice and was met upon my arrival and made to feel like I lived there. I got a tour of the entire place and decided to stay a few weeks. Everything is clean, great breakfast and a wonderful place to relax. The staff is very helpful and exceeds all of my expectations. The owners take great pride...

Tried to plan a rehearsal dinner here and to have the bride and bridesmaids stay overnight before the wedding. There is no organization between parties. Repeatedly called the mother of the bride to find out how many girls/rooms and what date. I had to call/email repeatedly to get menus/prices for rehearsal dinner. After 5 months of trying we gave up....

It was downright thrilling to pull into the driveway and see this extravagant house on the hill! This place is a classic mansion with an elegant grand stairway, three floors, gables, high ceilings, and rooms seemingly everywhere. Since there were five of us we were given the "penthouse suite" which is the entire third floor and formerly a ballroom. The...

Bromley's Hillhurst Bed and Breakfast's motto is "Enter as friends, leave as family." Keith Bromley and his staff go out of their way to ensure that those are more than just words written on the wall. This was our second stay here, and we had the third floor suite during this stay. As long as stair climbing is not an...

Bromley's Hillhurst Bed and Breakfast was a fantastic place to stay. All the rooms were beautiful, as well as the yard. There was plenty of towels and blankets supplied in the rooms and plenty of space to put your things if you were staying very long. They served us breakfast in the morning as a buffet, and told us to...

My husband and I love biking on rail trails and staying in local hotels. We were very pleased and impressed with both the Allegheny River/Oil Creek rail trails and Hillhurst Bed & Breakfast. We loved the view from our rooms overlooking the mountains and enjoyed learning about the history of the mansion, the town and the entire oil region. With...

Bromley's Hillhurst B&B is a wonderful place to stay in this area. The place is literally a mansion on a breath taking setting. Whether you've stayed at a B&B before or not this one is very inviting. Lots of area history can be seen, felt and read about here. The owner Keith Bromley is very welcoming and an interesting story...

My wife and I went to the Hillhurst to stay while visiting our daughter at school. Keith Bromley made us feel extremely welcome. The house is extremely cool with great woodwork and everything an old mansion comes with. My only complaint is that the blinds didn't work in our room (and I forgot to tell Keith about it when we...

We didn't get to Hillhurst until very late the evening of our arrival . . . Mr. Bomley made it very clear, and very easy for us to access the B & B even after hours and our room was very warm and inviting. We had decided to go to the area to do some research on my husbands "roots,"...

“The 2nd floor family suite is a great choice with family's with younger children. All three of the other second floor rooms looked great (and romantic) for couples.”

“Access to upper rooms (2nd and 3rd floor) by staircase only. Would not recommend upper floors if you have mobility issues. Rooms are available on first floor.”

“All of the rooms looked pretty nice (we stayed a night when no one else was there, so we got to look in all of the other rooms). I think we had the best view other than the master suite on the top floor.”
 of 5 bubbles 355jeffs, Nov 16, 2013 | Read review
“The rooms are all different so I would suggest being clear on your needs such as double, queen, king or bunk beds. We had a room in the back of the house and it stayed quite dark where rooms on the other side were bathed with the morning sun.”
