The rooms were ok & some of the staff were helpful as best as they were trained or cared. Both pools were suppose to be open but neither one of them were because they were not cleaned which is a health hazard to even attempt it especially the outdoors one which did not say it was closed. That being the case we were not able to use them along with the sauna. We had breakfast and dinner there and both times it was good especially dinner when the sous chef was on.This place does have potential if someone cared.
Rooms were outdated and not very clean, stains ok the armchair, clogged bathroom sink. We needed change for housekeeping, they told us they had no change at front desk. Help your people out and leave some change at the front desk if you want people to tip them. The pools were closed, i get it's covid but the waterpark next door was open. Nice balcony, no fridge in a king mountain view room. Pretty basic. I would only recommend if you want to come skiing and not spend crazy money at camelback, but be prepared for all of the above.
The rooms are dated and in need of renovation. I found a used coffee pouch in the coffee machine as well as hairs and a used band aid in the bathroom, The mountain view was good but the sliding door was difficult to open as it would not slide on the track. The pool was under renovation which was not mention to me at the time of booking. I found it expensive for the service you get. The person who took care of me at check-in was very friendly and helpful. The TV reception was not the greatest especially when I was watching the Super Bowl. They only have one ice machine which is on the 4th floor. I noticed they had Keurig coffee cups in the room but no Keuring machine. There is an onsite restaurant which I found the food to be very good and fairly priced.
We were there Oct 24th weekend for leaf peeking Very good value right below the road to Camelback and central to many locations in the Poconos Rooms can overlook the mountains but must be requested prior The Garden View rooms overlook the parking lot We took our70 lb Poodle with us in a room with 2 queen beds Refrigerator was upon request for an additional 10.00 per night The rooms smelled fine Our TV worked well No room service due to Covid We would stay again
Visiting off season we got a good rate, I booked a garden view, without knowing there is no garden, but instead a parking lot (so next time I book the mountainview). It's a beautiful setting and the colors were phenomenal. The rooms are unremarkable, but comfortable. The biggest issue was the TV which didn't work more often than it did. previous reviews indicated this was an ongoing problem. Nonetheless, I would go again.
