We unexpectedly had to stay the night in State College and needed a last minute, bargain priced place to stay close to the PSU campus. I called the Ramada, seeing Internet sites offering a $79 rate for a room with two beds. The front desk quoted me a rate even lower than the one online ($69), alerting me that it...

The ability to use their built-in registration desk made the morning registration go so smoothly. The desk is set up with everything you need with space for items you may bring. A coffee station was set up for use and was continually monitored by staff. Our 6 conference spaces were bright and spacious with water stations set up in each...

I stayed for a three day conference. The staff and service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good and the lunch and diner were great. The rooms are clean and are in good condition for an older hotel and the refrigerator and microwave in the room is a plus. The conference facilities are also very good for a medium...

Loved it, Everything you needed from food to drinks were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful . Can't say enough about how the staff was there to help. I would stay again if I have to spend time in State College .

We were here because of a wedding and regretted our stay here. The front desk were enough friendly and tried to be as accommodating as much as possible regarding the issues we had. Our room smelled like a combination of smoke and mustiness. The room is not only dark but cramped. The bathroom had an odor that was hard to...

I apologize about the issues that you had while staying at the Ramada. Our facility was built in the 1960's and a lot of money was put forth towards renovations throughout the years. I am very sorry of the issues you had and we hope that you will give us another chance in the future.

I was there for two weeks, first week was on the outside enterence and was really cold and the cold air went through the bottom of the door, the curtain was falling off the wall . The next week I was by the pool and it was a much better time. They did preaurth payments twice on two different cards....

Terrible place. Rooms are damp and dark. Avoid at all costs or bring blinders and fragrance spray. I will admit the staff was accompanying when I asked to be checked -out, as soon as I walked into the "room". Unless they have remodeled since Oct 2016; my room looked nothing like the pics of the search site for this location.

I apologize that you did not have an adequate stay with us at the Ramada. We are in constant renovations and are an older property that was built in the 1960's. We apologize for the issues and it will surely be brought up to the General Manager.

A number of things led to my dismal rating: it was dirty, dark, dingy (esp pool area), the room was ridiculously hot at 78 degrees (could not regulate it with thermostat) and the hair dryer did not work. We chose this over other hotels because of the pool. Hot tub was lukewarm only. Breakfast was adequate.

I apologize about the inconveniences that you had while staying with us. We do have maintenance on property until 12am so I will discuss with the Chief Engineer of why these issues were not resolved. I am glad that you enjoyed the breakfast and hope you will give us another chance in the future.
