This lovely inn near State College succeeded our expectations. We simply loved everything about our stay and, at that time, wished having allocated at least another night. The place is so comfortable and homely we didn't want to leave it. Our room had more than 7 different places to sit besides the massive king size bed, and we don't even...

Have known about this place for years and finally stayed and ate there. One of those places with a decor and comfort level and great service that you don't often find. Dined on wild salmon and partner had pasta with meat sauce. Both were some of the best we have had in years. Very nice wine selection and you start...

My siblings and I spend 2 nights here every year, just the four of us, as a yearly reunion. This is a beautiful hotel with elegant rooms and suites, a first class restaurant, and wonderful attention to detail. Little touches like drinks and complimentary hors d'ouvres in front of the fire while we waited to be seated for dinner always...

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and each visit has been good. The vibe is that of a large bed and breakfast... personalized service, large porch, lovely onsite 'fine' dining and spacious rooms. The building sits on a golf course and across from a workout center, which is nice... Great location within 10 minutes of downtown PSU so...

My husband was on a business trip and allowed me to tag along, he generally books hotels through priceline and requests 3-4 star hotels. Carnegie Inn was above and beyond in all areas. We were personally greeted by the gentleman on duty for the evening, I think his name was Sam. He was very kind and helpful and full of...

The Carnegie Inn is one of the nicest hotel s that we have ever stayed in. The hotel has about 20 rooms and reminds you of a B&B in New England. The hotel appears to be fairly new. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who checked us in. We were given a second floor room...

After travelling from New York by train and hire car, the stress of driving on the wrong side of the road, I was welcomed by a demand for my credit card and ID. No "welcome to the Carnegie Inn and Spa". It was odd, and I was a bit put off, but I think the man might have been in...

While visiting family in the area, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Carnegie. Atmosphere was warm and hospitable. The menu was varied with something for everyone, and our meals and the presentation were top notch. We were very impressed with the chef's creation for a special meal for a dietary issue. We highly recommend a visit to this restaurant...

This place was very clean and cozy. The price was excellent. Our room was huge. The only downside was our bed was hard, but many people like a harder more firm mattress. I would not bring children, but it is great for adults and couples. I would definitely stay here again without even second guessing it. The staff were very...
