Williamsburg Square, State College, is only 5 minutes from the Penn Stater Conference Center. Clean! Friendly, helpful staff! Great breakfast buffet included with always some type of eggs! Waffle makers too, breads, cereals, beverages. Highly recommend!

Stayed 5 days during the Arts Fest. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. We especially appreciated the good mattresses and large TV. My main reason for this review is to compliment the staff. After checking out I realized I had left an item in the room. I called the front desk and the person there (sorry forgot your name) sent housekeeping up and retrieved my item. They then made arrangements with UPS to ship it back to me (at my expense which is fair). They had UPS pick it up, package it properly and send it to my home. I received it in 2 days. The only problem we encountered was weak and unreliable wifi in our room. I am not sure if they had a problem with their system (I have always had no problems in other Hilton properties). The location is convenient to everything!

Overall good experience for the price. The place was clean, the staff was friendly. Stayed here on Christmas Eve primarily for the free breakfast since most restaurants are closed Christmas Day. As others mentioned, the hotel and the furniture could definitely use and update.

I get the high demand during move in week but $300 + per night is excessive by every measure considering what is on offer. For one the staff are running ragged trying to keep up with the volume. Day 1 our room wasn’t cleaned until 4pm. At breakfast there is no one available to even wipe down a table between patrons and so I had to clean up the crumbs from the previous guest on ur own. For this price point the Hilton should increase staffing during high volume and definitely improve the decor and room quality. Its just so dated. Do better Hilton!

Overall, a well-run hotel with friendly staff. Have stayed there several times over the past few months. Paid extra for a whirlpool soaking tub this last stay but the plunger leaked so tub did not fill. Told the staff and they thanked me for letting them know. I guess the "if you are not 100% satisfied, we don't expect you to pay guarantee” does not apply...." I am a diamond member and have never wrote a negative review but I was not even offered a discount on the upcharge I paid for the room :( If I have to haggle to be compensated I guess any Hampton guarantee is really meaningless.

I would first like to say that the hotel was dusty and dirty. The carpets did not appear to be vacuumed and their was a thick layer of dust above the beds. The sheets were stained and I pray they were just stained and not dirty. My biggest issue with my stay was the staff. We were there for business - a group of professional women, two of us being Latina. There were two very drunk white men at the pool on day 6 of our 7 night stay. When we went to the pool area to eat dinner one of the men said it was going to rain soon and my boss jokingly asked if he was a meteorologist. He said his phone told him about the weather and the conversation ended. Shortly after the front desk attendant told us we should come inside because it was going to rain. We told her okay and started packing up our dinner to take inside. The men told the staff member we asked if he was a meteorologist and he was upset. She then yelled at us to get inside right now. My boss said, we’re packing our things up to come inside and please do not yell at us like we’re children. The very young staff member then said she was calling her GM. One of our managers stayed in the lobby to eat while the rest of us went upstairs. She called us on speaker phone so we could hear the men in the lobby calling us “f**king bi**ches. I went down to speak to the general manager and she told me she sided with those men because they have been going there for years. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life! To make matters worse she told me that my boss needed to remain in her room. We spent over 2k on this hotel to be treated like actual trash?! When I asked for her regional managers number she gave us the phone number for the GM at the holiday inn. I will NEVER stay at this location again. I am currently waiting to hear back from corporate customer service in hopes that no one else is ever made to feel the way we were.

I went there for three nights and I didnt want to leave. The staff makes you feel that you are at home. All the ladies in the lobby are sweet and helpful, the women that prepares the breakfast take really good care of the place, keeping everything clean and hot. The driver of the shutter to the airport is a very nice man.
I definitely will return to this hotel and I recommend it to anybody that will visit State College.

Found a scrunchy hair-tie wrapped around inside bathroom door handle, scraggly hairs and all. Asked desk to swap our room, which was not an option due to full capacity. Desk suggested that cleaning missed the object since door swings inward when open, thus hiding it. Could only offer us $10 discount on booking.
If the hand sink is OUTSIDE the bathroom, every contact with the inside door handle is with an UNWASHED hand. Thus it should NEVER be overlooked by housekeeping. How often does it get sanitized?
Full hotel due to local event in area... many teens staying in hotel were quite boisterous fairly late into the night.

But I will never return to this location. It was so bad, at so many different levels, there have to be serious management issues here.
First, any time you needed a staff member you had to find them first, not once during my stay was a stff member at the front desk.
Once I finally got my room (badly in need of an update) I was overwhelmed by the stale cigarette smell (non-smoking room).
I could go on for a while, but long story short, avoid like the plague…
But I will never return to this location. It was so bad, at so many different levels, there have to be serious management issues here.

Room had a very bad stench of feet and appeared to be masked with Febreeze. The sheets that were provided for the pullout couch were dirty with what I hope was chocolate and not something worse. The phone was dusty. The room itself did not feel, look or smell clean.

Thanks for reaching out, unfortunately we do not have any rooms that separate the bedroom from the living room. Our biggest room is a studio suite which is only one big room. Sorry.

The only rooms that come with a refrigerator is our King Studio Suites which also include a microwave. We do have a couple of refrigerators that you can request to be put into your room for a $10 fee if you do not want to stay in our king suites.
Unfortunately we only have an outdoor pool which closed after Labor Day.
