Basic amenities, nothing fancy, but rooms are spotless, outstanding customer service, and great location! When we are in State College, we try to book this and are always disappointed when we can't stay there.

Stevens is a very comfortable place to stay. Modest room but everything that you need at a great price. Close to many restaurants and the campus of Penn State along with shopping and food stores. It is really close to everything including the airport. It is also next door to the Waffle House which is wonderful.

Stevens Motel, in State College, is clean, comfortable, and affordable, plain and simple. It's a great place to stay for an over-nighter, whether your college student is a PSU THON dancer, graduating, commissioning, concerts, or attend an awesome football game. Sandwiched between two popular restaurants, it's an ideal, convenient place to lodge, to just be a college student for a...

We stayed here after the Bruce Springsteen concert at the Bryce Jordan Center. The motel was recommended to me by a colleague who used to work at Penn State. While he had never stayed there, he said that the place has been around a long time, so they must be doing something right. That just about sums up my experience....

Spent one night here while on our way home after visiting family in Western Pa. Extremely pleased. Very clean and neat. Owner/Operators are very pleasant and respectful. This is not a high class, 5 star hotel. But if you want an exceptionally clean room, comfortable furnishings, and a pleasant experience all for a great price, this place is for you!...

This motel on North Atherton is warm and friendly. Rooms are well furnished and clean. The motel is family run and staff cares for the well being of visitors. During off peak season prices are relatively low. Heating is a little noisy. They have free tea and coffe in the lobby. There is no possibility for breakfast but just in...

My daughter attended a 2.5 day volleyball camp at PSU and I decided to stay in town with my other daughter instead of driving 7 hours round trip on a Wed and then again on Friday. Did not make reservations ahead of time and luckily The Stevens was able to accommodate us. We did have to switch rooms the 2nd...

Found this motel when we were looking for an affordable place to stay in State College. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. Rooms include a microwave and refrigerator. The restaurant next door serves a great breakfast. There is a trail nearby which is convenient for a walk or run. There is also a small playground at...

This is a great little place to stay off campus at a reasonable price. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating - I had to ask for a few things while I was there, and they were very gracious, polite, and prompt. The free wifi works very well, the rooms are clean, if maybe a bit old-looking. While it's no...
