Benjy at Seven Mountains was extremely helpful and very welcoming. We rented 3 cabins plus the Park Model and were very impressed with the cleanliness and ease of use. Check in was a breeze and cabins very easy to get into. The highway was closer than we expected but it didn't affect us at all. Only stayed 1 night but impressed with care taken of the area and cabins. Would definitely recommend the cabins and the Park Model for accommodation if you are in the area.

Stayed a very brief time while passing through the area (and going to Penn's Cave). Arrived very late at night and had a very easy time getting into our cabin. (A very difficult time using GPS to get off the highway though!! Don't miss your exit or you'll be traveling far RT to return) Everything was bright and clean and shiny! We were surprised with how well the kitchen area was stocked with dishes and such (only used the coffee maker in the morning).

Response from Seven Mountains Campground, General Manager at Seven Mountains Campground & Cabins
Responded Jul 15, 2020
Thanks so much for your review and for choosing seven mountains campground. We apologize for the problems with your gps. With the new construction google is apparently behind in updating the maps. The sand mountain rd exit is the exit you will need to take.

First time camper in small travel trailer. Middle of the week. Very quiet. Everything as expected. Improvements were being worked on. New owners seem to be aware of upgrading the campground. Very friendly, and available. Had a good time for our first trip.

We have been staying at the campground for at least 4-years for the Penn State games. The location is convenient for going to the games if you are coming from south of State College. They have invested significantly in installing cabins during this time but, they are stuck in the past for those not using the cabins. The bath houses have not be updated in at least 6-years and they are showing signs of wear. This includes toilets that are and have always been difficult to flush. The WIFI coverage at the camp sight is next to non-existent. Forget trying to use the Internet for watching a video. I would only recommend this campground for a family vacation if you only need a place to sleep,

My family rented four cabins this past weekend for the Penn State game. The location is perfect to be able to get to and from the game easily. Most importantly I wanted to say that Elvin (the manager I think) was so incredibly nice and helpful he made the stay wonderful.
