First, come here to be part of history. This is a building from 1915, so enjoy as that period would have enjoyed. If older architecture disturbs you, move on, but if it fascinates you, enjoy it. Great building....Great personal service....Great food, and did I mention Great personal service. You will be accomadated. We live in Somerset and this was a... More

This is a historic inn. The room was spacious and the innkeeper gracious. The bathroom could have been cleaner as the floor was sticky. The food in the restaurant was average and breakfast was included.

You won't completely escape the Turnpike Exit lights and chain service enterprise sprawl but elevated above it on a hill and convenient (1-2 minutes) to the highway welcome relief awaits in an authentic, gentile setting. The amenities are good, staff pleasant and accommodations comfortable!

Whether you need breakfast, lunch, dinner, or an overnight stay including breakfast, this is the place. We were so lucky to have bumped into this fabulous place. Needing a place to eat, we pulled off the Tpke late morning/early afternoon, googled local places and made two calls but were drawn to the Georgian because of the young woman (Tammie) who... More

We stayed at this place to celebrate a birthday. First of all, we were hungry after the dinner and had to go to Sheets for snacks and I'm not a big eater. But the main issue, which was never made right or taken care of , was the quality of our stay. We were the only ones there and handed... More

- Misleading Review - This reviewer’s comments have been made under false pretenses. With so many 4 and 5 star ratings, this review makes no sense. Jennifer, Let me further explain the conversations we had about your stay. The “small portions” you mention are because you requested and received a lunch menu at 7:30 pm. As customary in every restaurant,... More

We have lived in Somerset for a number of years and have never been to the Georgian Inn. We wanted to do something for New Years but due to weather didn't want to travel far. We decided on an overnight stay at the Georgian Inn and it was the best decision we could have made. The staff was wonderful. Dinner... More

We were blown away by the welcome, staff, lodging, breakfast and dining. The room was tremendous and very reasonably priced. Our bar tender and waitress Ashleigh was most attentive at dinner and again at breakfast. When we arrived in our room there was a large welcome sign with our names. The menu for dinner likewise had our name posted on... More

I've been a critic of the Inn previously, however the Somerset Garden Club had a special Afternoon Tea (Luncheon) and I have to tell you it was spectacular. It was a three course luncheon featuring a special "Raspberry Honey" tea that was terrific (I had three cups), The 1st course was assorted tea sandwiches that were delicious and very attractive.... This is a gem tucked away in Somerset. It is a little reminiscent of the Inn at Little Washington. The rooms are pristine, the bed is extremely comfy, and there are lots of personal touches. The bar is warm and inviting, and the wine that was the special was fantastic. Dinner was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly.... More

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend stay. All of the staff were 5 stars!! They took personal care in making sure all our needs and concerns were met. It is a gorgeous restored mansion with unique rooms, great history, and the management clearly work hard to keep that tradition alive in all that they do for their guests.... More
