I was really looking forward to staying at Glade's Pike, highly recommended by my niece and her husband. We had a reservation for 2 nights and I was lucky to add an additional night a few weeks before hand. We arrived around 7 or so on a Thursday evening. Janet offered for us to sit down, have a hot beverage.... More

Close to Falling Water and overall so very thankful to the inn owner and the passing by vintage car show for the experience of a life time! Beautiful eclectic style in a magical space I loved the vintage plates in the room I stayed. Bed was comfy and place was fresh and clean.

I agree with all the good words others have written about the innkeeper and the property in general but I found the shower in my room to be uncomfortably small, with the shelves sticking out so far that I had to be very careful not to bang my elbows against them. Also, if you plan to arrive at night you... More

You must have been in the downstairs bedroom. It is one of my favorite rooms as it is large enough to have a couch and chair for seating and a flat screen TV....and it is the coolest in the summer and the wood burning fireplace warms the room nicely in the winter. My senior guest like it because there are... More

This was a great place to stay, Janet was a wonderful host and served up an amazing breakfast. We would highly recommend staying in this beautiful, well cared for home. I think Janet told us that the house is over 150 years old and it oozed character. All around comfortable stay and hope to return some day!

We arrived at the Inn on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted by a nice lady named Janet and the Dalai Lama, We were there to see the FLR homes in the area and were meeting friends who also stayed here. She was warm and welcoming and the dog was very nice. Janet gave us several great recommendations for restaurants... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights there. We had a wonderful time. Innkeeper Janet was a wonderful host. We had a large room with a fireplace. The breakfasts were delicious. Great location for seeing the area, especially the Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Would definitely stay there again.

Janet was very kind and accommodating, and the house was fine. However, the smell of cat pee was so overwhelming that I wanted to cancel but it felt too rude to do so. She has several pets. So if you're used to this, perhaps because you have pets of your own, you may not mind a bit. But I slept... More

I am so sorry you did not say something to me. I also smelled something for a few days and figured out what it was. We are so careful with the kitty litter...However, the third floor fan got reversed (instead of pulling the cold air up the stairs, it was pushing the hot attic air down) and OVER the cats... More

Don't miss this one! Innkeeper Janet is an absolute wonder! It's been awhile since we tried the B & B experience but our love for old places wouldn't let us pass it up. We were in town for our anniversary and have been wanting to scratch Fallingwater off the bucket list for quite some time. We had to show up... More

We were on a trip to Somerset to visit Falling Water. We booked the Glades Pike Inn as it was so convenient. The welcome we received from Janet was amazing. Our son loved Dalai the dog and the cat too. Janet recommended places to eat and things to do. She could not have been more helpful. The rooms are spacious.... More

“Be sure to mention if you want a room with a fireplace or a pet friendly room. I believe most of the rooms have their own bathroom, but at least one is outside the bedroom, so be sure to ask if you need one inside your bedroom.”

“We have stayed in 3 of her rooms and have enjoyed them all. We particularily like the room upstairs and facing the parking area/backyard. It has a tub for us to bath our son, a fireplace, and plenty of room for a packnplay. The downstairs room is roomy with a fireplace, but no bath tub. And the upstairs front facing room to the left is nice with a King bed, but it is a shower stall as well.”
