Buhl Mansion is my husband and my favorite getaway. From the time you arrive until the time you leave, you feel spoiled and thoughtfully cared for. We recently came up for a Friday night getaway and stayed in Steel Mangate, one of our favorite rooms in the winter due to the cozy fireplace and lounger in front. It’s at the back of the castle so extra quiet also. We started as typical with a few spa treatments- Himalayan salt stone massage was fantastic and can’t be beat! The manicures and new agave hand treatments were just what we needed for dry winter hands. The afternoon tea always has delicious little treats! We had a great meal at Stonewalls over at sister priory Tara-wow is the pricing reasonable but more importantly the food is top notch and service on point. In the morning at Buhl we both enjoyed the apple French toast which was the best way to start the day. Im also obsessed with the “day at the spa” drink! At checkout, we made another reservation and was helped seemlessly get our spa services in place over two days - a creative solution which we so appreciated! Thank you to the wonderful team at Buhl. We appreciate you and will keep coming back to our glorious home away from home.

My husband and I stayed one night while traveling to our next destination. Due to Covid; I felt a B&B would be our best option, which it was. Their policies made us feel very confident in our decision, and more. This mansion is beautiful, quiet grounds, and the special touches were much appreciated after a long days drive. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating: we hope to stay again on our way back!

We stayed here for a little getaway in the Artist's Loft which was beautiful Loved the champagne on arrival and in the room. the lobby and library area open to guests is stunning. We also loved the afternoon tea service on a beautiful tray with flowers, tea. sandwiches and desserts. Be sure to plan ahead for dinner reservations with possibly their sister resort Tara. there is no dining room for dinner at the mansion we wanted to try the cute Donna's Diner down the street but it had already closed. just be aware of your options as the restaurants closed between 6-7pm in the town of Sharon. would like to have done a spa day but we didn't have the time.

My wife and I took a short trip up to Sharon, PA after staying with friends in Pittsburgh. Last summer, we stayed at Buhl Mansion's sister property, the Tara Inn which was also great. So, we had our sights set on Buhl Mansion this time around. And we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Steel Magnate room. The bed was comfortable, there was a fireplace, and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Robes and plenty of towels were provided and there was champaign and fruit in the room when we arrived. Downstairs there were a couple of very nice sitting areas including a library of books and games. The back of the mansion had outdoor (eating and sitting) areas and we brought out a couple of the lawn games that were available from the library. There was also a sauna, steam room, and monsoon showers on the bottom level that we used. The breakfast service was very attentive to our dietary needs. The outdoor pool at the Tara Inn was made available to us to use. One of the staff gave us a historical background about the property which was interesting. The only difficulty was figuring out how the smart TV worked. Our one-night midweek stay was quiet and relaxing. We would recommend the Buhl Mansion unequivocally.

My husband and I wanted a get away for our anniversary, and are so glad we chose Buhl Mansion and Spa. We started our stay with a couples hot stone massage, and it was so relaxing. The Mansion itself is beautiful and elegant. We stayed in the artist loft room. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and a fruit tray. They provided us with plush robes and slippers for our room. The grounds of the property are very well maintained and we enjoyed sitting by the fire that evening. Breakfast in the morning was very good. You could either have it delivered to your room or eat in their dining area. The staff we met were all very friendly and accommodating.

What an amazing event my husband got to be a "king for a day" in a beautiful castle surrounded by his favorite people. From start to finish Nicole was amazing at helping me plan a magical event. I rented the whole mansion and gave her the guest list. We were already in our room Grand Turret which was fabulous. When our guests arrived they were greeted and escorted to their rooms to freshen up and meet in the parlor for the surprise at Tea Time. I told my husband we were doing a black tie photo shoot for his 50th as I really hired Jenna D Imaging to do photography for our event. She captured the surprise as we entered the parlor, highlights of the evening, as well as couples photos in front of the castle as a keepsake for each guest. We had personalized wine labels, stunning flowers from Greens Floral, fabulous food from Chrystal Catering in the carriage house, delicous tres leche cake by Griselle, and incredible jazz by Stan Miller. Taylor assisted Nicole to make this a perfect overnight getaway. Laura, the general manager, gave our guests special attention as we sat around the outdoor fire in the gardens having cocktails once the music ended. I cannot thank all the staff at Buhl Mansion enough for really helping me to pull off the most magnificant birthday celebration in the most beautiful setting. If you are thinking of renting a castle for a day.....Just Do It. It was an experience of a lifetime. All rooms are amazing we took a room tour after the yummy breakfast. All of our guests were so impressed with the mansion, staff, and service. What a hidden gem in beautiful downtown Sharon.

This was a fantastic experience. We stayed in the "Artists Loft" bedroom, which is on the third floor. The room is larger than the photos show, and it looks comfortable in the photos.

The mansion itself is extremely well curated and maintained. There are games and books (mainly WWII) available in the library if you find yourself needing a mental break. The tea time cookies and snacks were delectable.

The breakfast is exceptional, we tried 4 of the dishes during our stay and each one was amazing. Our favorite was the French Toast, which wasn't too sweet. Your breakfast can be taken in your room or in the dining area overlooking the grounds.

The staff was all extremely courteous and accommodating. You didn't know they were there unless you sought them out, and then they were right where you'd expect to have found them. No overbearing presence, but always ready to serve. Excellent!

We recommend a romantic getaway here at any time.

When I come back to my hometown of Sharon Pennsylvania I always seek out a room at the Buhl Mansion. It is located conveniently in the heart of the city, walkable to downtown and the wonderful Buhl Park. The accommodations are very comfortable and equally as important the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The customized breakfast, which is included, is exceptional. Even my husband who would normally choose the Holiday Inn express was quite pleasantly surprised and very pleased. well worth the extra money.

We arrived into the cute little town and loved it. Buhl park, just 8 minutes away, was well maintained and energizing to walk around. The staff at the mansion were so helpful and accommodating. The champagne, fruit and cheese tray was such a welcomed treat. We also went to the tea at 4:00 pm; it was relaxing and fun to just sit in such an elegant and quaint venue. The grounds are well maintained , the rooms, clean and orderly. My husband and I really enjoyed the darling areas to sit , talk, and have a fire in the gas fire pit in the evening. The beds were so comfortable, as were the plush sheets and pillows. The breakfast and coffee the next morning were the perfect finish to our overnight stay. Well worth the trip!

The wife and I stayed two nights ( the weekend ) for our Anniversary. The property and staff met every expectation we had. The Hot Stone massage for two was wonderful as well as the Champagne, Flowers, and Chocolate Covered Strawberries I added at the Spa event. I even noticed a book in the library that peaked my interest. I wasn't looking to read but found a small amount of time to do so. Ahh, the Breakfasts were great as well. Saturday night happened to be Light Up night in town with a very nice Fireworks display, which we watched from our bed. We will return someday in the future for sure! Thanks to staff for such a wonderful experience!
