Exceptional stay. Clean friendly and the breakfast was a nice touch. Highly recommend. Love the garden and grounds too. You can tell the owners love what they do and care for their guests. We will definitely return when we court Lancaster County!!

This very reasonably price motor court is clean and comfortable. The owners are friendly and determined to ensure that you are satisfied with your room. It has recently been repainted, new carpets, TV and mattresses. It was clean & comfortable. The breakfast included cereal, oatmeal, bagels, donuts, juices, coffee, bananas. We were pleased with the choices. There were 6 of us, in 3 rooms and we all felt the same way. It was very close to the Rockvale Outlets. We felt safe & secure, with deadbolt locks. We did not hear any road noises. We plan more trips and this is definitely where we will stay.

I have stayed here many times and I have never been disappointed. Room is always emaculat and the owners couldn't be more accommodating. They go way out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasant on. The grounds are emaculat and it feels like you are staying in a park.

I don't like being harsh but unless you don't mind sleeping on a rock, you should look for another hotel.
The bed was horrible. It was literally like laying on a rock. My husband & I didn't rest any at all. The towels & washcloths were scratchy. There was no complimentary toothpaste, body wash & such, only one roll of thin toilet paper. My husband ask them for toothpaste & more toilet paper but he was told they don't give out extra. The main reason we didn't like it was because of the bed & for us, to have a good stay you need a comfortable bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in my whole life, no joke. Last, their sign & the description said complimentary breakfast but my husband was told they don't offer it.
The room was clean & smelled good, so we were glad for that. Also, outside was pretty. The staff was friendly. As friendly as the staff was, we won't be returning for future stays.

2020 with COVID 19, has been a horrible year. Like others, we were afraid to take a road trip. But, We finally said, we need this road trip. Where - to Lancaster of course. We always stay at the Weathervane. It is always clean and comfortable. COVID 19 has definitely resulted in a few changes. No breakfast at the motels for now. Of course masks must be worn when checking in. But, still Nick and Sharda offer many wonderful smiles and go above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. Safe - yes I felt very safe staying here. Our room was very clean and smelled clean. The beds are comfortable and fresh and the hot water and towels are plentiful. We are fortunate that we are usually able to make frequent trips to Lancaster and when we do, we always stay at the Weathervane. We are never disappointed. If you are headed to Lancaster, staying at the Weathervane would be an excellent choice. Good clean room at a reasonable price. And Nick will no doubt remember you, the next time you visit.

My brother and I decided to meet in Lancaster for a few days. It had been sometime since we were last here and the places we had stayed in the past were no longer available. We chose Weathervane based on the reviews and we were not disappointed.

COVID is still impacting your stay, such as rooms are not being cleaned daily and breakfast isn't being served. However, that has been the case wherever I have stayed the last few months.

Room was clean on arrival and larger than most. Beds were comfortable. TV had a lot of channels available, although we only watched a few minutes one day. You are centrally located so anywhere you want to go is close.

One warning, be very careful leaving the site due to the traffic and the large bush to your right makes it a little hard to see. Sometimes I chose to turn right and then do a u turn up the road.

Hope you enjoy your stay in Lancaster.

Hotel is conveniently located close to Sight and Sound, Tangier outlets, Good and Plenty and the Amish farms. Our room was clean and had most of what you could need. Due to Covid the hotel had to eliminate their continental breakfast but that is just a minor thing. Nick, the owner always trys to accommodate guests needs and want his guests to have an enjoyable stay. This was our 4th visit and we will be back.

Booked a room for one night and decided to stay two. Rooms were very spacious and easy to move around in. Steps have been taken to make them accessible for the handicapped with bars in the bathroom and raised toilet. The rooms themselves are very clean, the beds comfortable, and very quiet. The owners were very kind and accommodating. This is a wonderful place to stay and would not hesitate to recommend this place or to stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality.

We have been staying at The Weathervane Motor Court for several years now every time we visit the Ronks/Lancaster area. We accidently stumbled on this motel a few years ago and have been staying there ever since. Nick and his wife do a great job keeping the place clean and tidy, and are both ALWAYS super friendly and accommodating.
Just this week my wife and I were up there and had planned to stay 3 nights. Unfortunately during the second day there we learned of the incoming snow storm and needed to cancel our third night so we didnt get stuck and unable to get home. I explained to Nick that we hated to cancel the last night, and without missing a beat he quickly stated he understood and that was no problem and immediately issued a refund to my card for the last night. Not to mention, Nick also asked me to give him a quick call when we got home because he knew we had about a 5 hour drive heading into the snow and rain storm and he wanted to make sure we got home safely. How many motels have you ever stayed at that would do that for their customers??
Weathervane is our go to motel when in the area. It is an older small motel but rooms are plenty big enough for what we need, and they have done a great job refurbishing an older motel.
We travel up there 2-3 times each year, sometime in the car, other times on the motorcycles. We love the fact that we can park the motorcycle right in front of the door to the room for easy unloading too. Motel is close to everything as well. Easy simple check in and check out process. Be sure to check them out when traveling to the area and need a place to stay!!

A clean room is extremely important to us when traveling. Nick was helpful if we needed any information concerning the area or if we needed anything for our room. The Motor Lodge is an older motel but rooms are very clean, there’s a small refrigerator with small freezer which I feel is necessary and was happy to see available. During our stay lawn service arrived to mow, etc. fascinating watching the guys work. They were so efficient and keep the grounds at the Motel in beautiful shape. There are picnic tables around the yard and a Gazebo if you want to relax outside. Very quiet, excellent for sleeping. No breakfast but there’s a Chic-filet a short distance down the road that served delicious biscuits with friendly servers and the restaurant was very clean. One of the best Chick-filets we’ve encountered.

This is a really nice place to stay. I was with a church group and we certainly enjoyed it. Our hosts were very gracious to us and had everything right there for us. Its not the fanciest place, but it was comfortable and we loved it. This was our second time staying here and we highly recommend it. 100% satisfied customer.
