My mother loves trains so this was such a cute place to stay with her. She loved it. And truthfully I loved it too. Staying in a real caboose is a unique experience and was so fun. We had a smaller caboose but it had 2 full beds and a full bathroom. We didn't have much room for our stuff...

This was my 5th stay at the Red Caboose Motel and visit was enjoyable as always. A quick one night stay in a caboose with full bath and hottub. Room was very comfortable with minifridge, microwave, flat screen cable tv, and free wireless internet. Property is located in the midst of Amish Farmland, with Amish Horse and Buggies traveling local...

This place is perfect for little kids! We booked 2 nights to go to Dutch Wonderland (only 10 min drive away). They have a free petting zoo with friendly calm animals. A barn playing kids movies every night at 7:30. A kids train you can take a ride around the facilities on. The toy train museum is right there. They...

My grandfather LOVED trains and he had taken me on a trip here many years ago. My family decided to take a trip back to the Red Caboose Motel this year as an in memory trip for my grandfather. Booked our room on their website and it was super easy. Picked a large family caboose, which can sleep 6 (2...

I wasn't sure how staying here with two teen girls would be but they loved it! They aren't girly girls and they enjoyed the animals, silo view and all the train cars. We stayed in car #4 which had recently been renovated and was very comfortable. The space is small because it is a caboose but there were two double...

Spend the night in a caboose AND enjoy the constantly improving property. Wow, the new owners have really made this something special. Our grandchildren absolutely loved staying here. Beds are comfortable, the food is good, and the amenities such as buggy rides, nightly movies, station store, are appreciated.

Visit the Red Caboose Motel in Paradise, PA. Stay in a Real Train Caboose! A restrestaurant & diner in an old railroad on site. Amish buggy rides. Best part is the Train museum is close by in Strasburg and you can even get tickets to ride on a Steam Train across the street from entrance of museum.

Visited again and the motel just keeps improving. The owners are doing a great job restoring it to its former self and in many instances even better. It is a great place to stay with kids or if you are a train buff. Our room was clean and updated, flat screen tv microwave. There are plenty of outlets to plug...
