We stayed at this B&B on our second night riding the GAP from Pittsburgh to Cumberland. The rooms were nice and clean, but it was cold in the house and we didn't see a way to adjust the heat. Our bed was hard, but pillows were comfortable. Of the three B&Bs we used on the trip, this was our least...

We tried to stay at B&Bs as much as possible. this one was OK; just not a good as most of the others we stayed at along this trip. Main compliant was that host Maryainne ? was not there when we got in. After long hot ride really wanted to take a shower and get settled in room. Rooms were...

Stayed 4th of July weekend. The place was obviously booked solid but the house didn't seem crowded at all. The wrap-around porch was a great place to relax and watch the birds. There is some street noise from cars passing by, but it wasn't too bad except for the occasional loud-mufflered motorcycles or big trucks. There was also some train...

My husband and 2 college buddies met, with wives too, and enjoyed a nice visit. The B&B is well kept and clean. We enjoyed wonderful breakfast, even preparing special foods for those in need. The porch was a delightful place to hang out.

Mary Ann is a wonderful hostess with a beautiful B&B very close to the GAP. Good location for walking to town as well. The rooms are beautifully appointed with all the amenities, including hair dryer. She heated the house in advance of our arrival, so it was very cosy when we arrived. There is a comfortable living room for relaxing....

Nice B and B...comfortable with lovely breakfast of blueberry French toast, sausage and fruit. Trains are a bit noisy...but thats common along the trail. No ac but the house was plenty cool with windows open to sleep.

We stayed here last weekend while biking the GAP. You couldn't find a better location as it is literally the second building off the trail in Rockwood. It's beautifully furnished and very clean. There's a wonderful covered porch for sitting and a covered space was provided to store the bikes. MaryAnn, the innkeeper, prepared an amazing breakfast that provided more...

Fed stale cereal. Rooms comfortable and clean enough. If you bring your own food it's ok. Owner isn't on property. Cash only, not much to eat in town either. No AC, Owner hovered at breakfast, as if she couldn't wait to get rid of us. Would never stay here again.

The Gingerbread House in Rockwood, PA is a bicycle friendly Bed and Breakfast. We were a group of nine biking the Great Allegheny Passage trail with reservations for this B & B. A rain storm turned us into one dirty group of bikers. The owner provided a hose to wash off our bikes and just asked we take our shoes...
