Cute and relaxing place for a getaway! Brenda is a phenomenal hostess and cook. The area is relaxing, grounds are well kept and our room was cozy. Bonus was Sally the three legged cat and Molly the boxer that made me feel like I was home away from home. Highly recommend Brownstone Colonial Inn! I know I will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to enjoy a two night stay for our “babymoon”. The inn is absolutely beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and the innkeeper was just wonderful with her warm personality! We also enjoyed an in room massage which she helped us book before our trip. I plan to visit again in the future with my mom and sister for a girls weekend.

I have stayed at the Brownstone Colonial Inn three times in the past year. The first time I happened upon it on a website, and after that I made sure to stay again when I returned to the area. Brenda and Mark are wonderful hosts. They go out of their way to answer questions and make sure you have what you need. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, and often include produce from their backyard garden or from local farmers. Coffee and tea are always available in the parlor, and often homemade cookies as well. The rooms are comfortable and appointed in Colonial style, even down to the details of door hardware. The whole atmosphere is warm and inviting. If your travels bring you to this corner of PA, I highly recommend staying at this inn.

Our family reminisces about our stay at Brownstone Colonial Inn. It was such a pleasant experience; from the ambiance of the period furnishings; to the excellent, creative food; to the comfortable beds and facilities; and especially the fellowship with the host and other guests. We began our morning in a large country kitchen that is welcoming with special touches by the owners. The gardens and grounds were well-cared for and a great place to stroll around and relax. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I just needed a few days of peace and quiet, and Brownstone Colonial Inn turned out to be just the ticket. Mark and Brenda are wonderful hosts, gracious and personable. Breakfasts were delicious, with some of the food coming right from their own garden. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we spent a good number of hours unwinding at the water garden. Their home has so much character, and is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

My sister and I had a two day getaway and the Inn was just the ticket. We loved the shaker style decor and being in the country setting. It was so quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing and sharing stories with the other guests was a lot of fun. Brenda and Mark could not have been more accommodating. We hope to return again soon.

The Brownstone is a lovely house true to it's colonial roots in décor and very charming and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the country setting was a nice break from our usual crowded suburban hustle & bustle. Proprietors Brenda & Mark are very warm and friendly, and had lots of good advice about attractions we should check out in the area. This was my daughter and my second stay at the Brownstone, and we look forward to lodging with them again on our future Adamstown antique shopping trips.
