Grandmas room was comfy and plenty of room. Bed was very comfortable. I like not having a tv in the room! Brenda woke early to feed me breakfast for my early departure. Amazing host! The price was less expensive than any decent hotel within 30 minutes and way cooler as far as environment, ability to relax value. The history alone... More

My wife and I were visiting relatives in Wernersville and were thrilled to find the Brownstone Colonial Inn. We much prefer B&B's to hotel/motels. Brenda and Mark were delightful hosts. Brenda created wonderful breakfasts. It was really enjoyable sharing breakfast with the other guests and the hosts around a large table. We stayed in Grandma's room which, though not large,... More

This is a quaint B&B off the beaten path - but nice. Mark and Brenda were very nice and hospitable and were kind enough to allow us to check out late, so that my husband could watch a Redskin morning game. They do have two dogs, however, they were extremely quiet and you almost don't know they are there. Do... More

I could have sat by their beautiful and mystic koi pond ALL DAY! Brenda and Mark have a lovely B&B that truly transports you back in time. They are lovely kind people who really treasure and care for their classic home. Each morning the aroma floating from the kitchen proved that breakfast would be amazing. Thank you Brenda and Mark... Thank you for taking time to submit a review! Glad you enjoyed the water garden, which Mark totally rebuilt a year and a half ago! It is now more user friendly, aesthetically beautiful; and the addition of the umbrella and chairs makes it even more inviting! I wish I personally would have more time to sit out there and enjoy... I was 50% of two old gals celebrating half a century of friendship. We had a wonderful week long stay at this B&B. We stayed in the two room "suite" which had very comfortable beds and a nice little seating area. Mark and Brenda are fantastic hosts who obviously really enjoy it. They have a lovely home with a huge... More

Thank you for your very fine review of our inn keeping! Yes, we actually have two rooms that perfectly accommodate multiple guests - our "Queen Anne Room," which has an antique queen rope bed and twin day bed w/ private bathroom; and for those who want more roominess with privacy, our "Shaker Suite," which has a queen Shaker-style pencil post... A previous "not so good" bed and breakfast experience haunted us, as my sister and I set out to book a place in the Lancaster area for one night. She and I laugh about it today, but our expectations were much higher this time around. The Brownstone Colonial Inn was far from disappointing!!! What a wonderful blessing it was! Beautiful... More

What a delightful, relaxing experience my husband and I enjoyed on our vacation at Brownstone Colonial Inn. Brenda and Mark Miller are the epitome of gracious hospitality. Our private room and bath met our needs perfectly. A parlor graces the setting with comfortable seating, a convenient small refrigerator and microwave, home made mint tea (from their garden), lemonade, home made... More
