When my wife & I decided to spend a few days in the Lancaster area I did quite a bit of research on places to stay. We like the older colonial style, so we booked a few nights at the Brownstone Colonial Inn. I am very glad we did! From the second we walked in the door we felt welcomed & knew we picked the right place. The bedroom was perfect & the breakfast was excellent. Conversation around the table was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! Our hosts Brenda & Mark were very accommodating, and I especially appreciated the early morning coffee! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area. If you are planning on being in the Lancaster area, this is the place to stay!... you will not be disappointed!

This 4-night stay in Grandpa's Room was our third since we became aquatinted with the Brownstone and the Millers in 2016. The meals are delicious, the surroundings cozy, the greater Lancaster County area entertaining & accessible, not to mention the lasting friendships forged with fellow guests! This destination remains very highly recommended to anyone visiting Amish country.

We cane with friends fir the 1st time. The Brownstone Colonial Inn was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and restful, just what we needed for 2 nights. We were greeted by Brenda the InnKeeper, she was warm, friendly and the hospitality, we had Granpas room 1st floor, beautiful quilt and very comfortable, close to breakfast room and social room. Air condition and updated shower exceptionally clean. Breakfast was shared with Brenda and husband Mark , who we found very friendly, knowledgable, we had prayer and delicious breakfast, mostly homemade and fresh herbs, homemade juice and jellies. Thank you Brenda and Mark for your beautiful spirits and love. Hospitality. We will return to this reyreat.🙂 Miriam and the Pianoman Turner

Having stayed at many B & B Inns over the last decade, this has been our best experience ever. The hospitality of the host family is unsurpassed, the rooms are cozy and the breakfasts are exquisite. Nothing beats the friendships we make on these getaways.

Step back in time a bit and enjoy a peaceful time at the Brownstone. I stay here often while on business and it is such a great beginning and ending of my day. I love coffee, conversation and breakfast with the hosts and the rooms are amazing from period decor to clean, well detailed bathrooms and amenities.
