We chose this B&B for proximity to our destination, a family party nearby. Turned out to be a great choice. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and everything in it was in good working order. Innkeeper was friendly and hospitable. We packed bathing suits for the hottub, but the weather was too cold during our visit. We’ve stayed in many B&B’s, and this one is very well-run. There is a good crab house, Captain Bob’s, within easy walking distance - you might not expect this in PA Dutch country, but you’re only a few miles north of the Maryland border.

Nice sized room chosen. Thick outer stone (partially exposed) & plaster walls. Warm comfortable forced heat. Very neat & clean room. Original floors creaky but adds to the experience except with others walking above..LOL. Nice prepared breakfast (posted menu information when you arrive) waiting for us the next morning at 9AM. Walk/Bike off the breakfast on the adjacent trail during your stay or afterwards to experience the natural surroundings.

Very cool house (hotel) built in 1859. Innkeepers were accommodating. Very ample and delicious breakfasts. Complimentary beverages. Extremely comfortable bed. Located adjacent to rail trail - will bring our bikes on next visit. And swimsuits for hot tub.

The owners were great! Welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and had all we needed right down to the lighted make-up mirror. The bed was incredibly comfortable and cozy, and being able to use the parlor next door was so relaxing. The only thing I would add to the room is a vanity stool. Our breakfast was amazing and there was plenty of it! Looking forward to going back some day!

My husband and I came here right after our wedding since it was one of the closest stays to our venue (who wants to go to hampton inn after they get married amiright?) So in all my googling I found this super cute b&b! Now we might not be the best b&b guests because we don't wake up early enough to even eat breakfast but we still wanted to go to this cute, quant place! We rented the cottage room which is separate from the main house. It has a gas fireplace, two recliners, a mounted tv, and a jacuzzi tub. We relaxed and unwound for two days and loved every minute. Never doubt the revitalizing effect a fireplace has. We briefly interacted with the owner and he was super kind and accommodating. 15/10 recommend this b&b!

This place is a gem. Beautifully maintained and appointed. It's a wonderful stopover during an overnight rail trail ride. The inn keepers were very pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We'll be back!

The Jackson House is a wonderful place to stay! Located right along the Heritage Trail, was great for a walk, run, or bike ride. The proprietors are lovely and accommodating people. Super comfortable bed, a hot tub to relax in, and the breakfasts were delicious (and personally tailored to my allergies). It’s a great place to stay.

Amanda and Damon, the owners are picture perfect in hospitality. I rented a room for my future daughter in-law to stay the night before her wedding and an extra night for the bride and groom for the wedding night. We also reserved the upstairs parlor for wedding day prep. The added touches provided by Amanda and Damon were above and beyond my expectations. They truly made us feel important, welcomed, and relaxed!!!
