The entire facility was maintained. There were lots of activities and had a very friendly staff. The camp sites were well cared for and We will be back for sure in the future. Couldn’t have asked for more.

So many things to do. Cabins were very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will stay again! A lot of things were closed at the end of may when visiting. That’s the only downside.

My 6-year-old has been talking about camping for a while now, so we decided to check out Jellystone. In spite of what was the coldest Memorial Day weekend on record, we had a great time! **Booking** For some reason, I've been unable to use the online booking tool, and keep getting an "unable to add to cart" message. I've tried multiple devices and browsers, and dates. I think that being able to book online would have made a big difference in knowing what was available, and what add-ons to purchase. I messaged the park online and was told that they were having trouble with their booking tool, and to call. The staff was very friendly and easily booked the cabin that I wanted. Not quite ready to tackle tent camping with kids, I booked a deluxe cabin that was only a few steps away from the ranger station, and directly across from the playground. The price was a little higher than what I saw on the site, but I was okay with it and chalked it up to the booking issues. Intending to stay Thursday through Sunday, I looked at my reservation a few weeks before the trip and noticed that I was actually booked Thursday through Monday. When I reached out, I was told that no one was allowed to check out on Sunday because of the holiday weekend (which I didn't quite understand), and they would only let me modify to stay Friday-Monday, to which I opted not to do. I was told that the site would not let me book the trip I wanted, and that's why I was having issues, however, to this day, I am still unable to add ANY booking to my cart with the website. I really wasn't thrilled with that part, but was hopeful for a good trip anyway, especially since I'd be staying longer. **The Cabin** As I mentioned, I booked a deluxe cabin. This is a room with a full-size refrigerator and freezer (I was surprised as I had expected a small fridge), a stove, sink, microwave, dining table, queen size bed, plus a separate bedroom with two bunk beds, and a full bathroom with a tub. There is also a covered front porch, and an outdoor picnic table, grill, and fire pit. We opted for linens for the beds we were using, which were set up wrapped in plastic on our arrival, and also included quilts and towels. I'd still recommend bringing some extra towels, especially if the water park is open. I really liked the cabin, and my kids had a great time in their shared space. I would call out that the cabin technically sleeps 6, but storage is limited, so it would be pretty cramped with 6 people. Our kids used their upper bunks for their clothes and other items. There is one dresser in the living area with the larger bed, but it wasn't functioning great and seemed more like it was really there to hold the TV. We opted to keep our things in our suitcase, which fit easily under the bed-- not a problem but just worth mentioning to be mindful of the amount of people/belongings. The cabin was clean and came with heat/AC that was easy to use, and much appreciated because it was COLD. I was also really surprised that there were very few bugs encountered on the whole trip, because, again, we were camping. The outdoor area was oddly less clean. The firepit had some boxes and soda cans in it, and there were some cigarette packages on the ground along with random litter. I'm not sure if the random items happened to blow into our area or what, but every day there was a random collection of plastic utensils or pieces of broken plastic toys that I would pick up and throw away. It might have been helpful if there were a few more trash cans around for people to use, instead of grossly tossing their trash on the ground. Overall, though, the cabin was really great and the perfect location for people watching and easy access to everything. **Activities** We only tried out the water park for one day, due to the crazy weather, but the kids really loved it. There is a large play structure with slides and a little splash/fountain area. I wish we could have spent more time in this section, but it was just too cold, unfortunately. We participated in the sand art, which the kids loved. Many of the activities are extra, but I didn't find anything ridiculously expensive. In fact, as we needed to some emergency sweatpants and sweatshirts from the shop, I can attest that most things are reasonably priced. One thing I noticed was that the place really comes alive on the weekends (as it's technically the off-season), and things seem to run a bit more smoothly Friday-Sunday vs. the Thursday we arrived. For example, check-in isn't until 4, but the shop closes at 5, which means if you're slightly behind, you can't purchase any firewood for the evening. Thankfully a really nice staff member was able to help us buy some, but this offer came after two other staff members told us that we needed to wait until the next day. There was also some confusion because the jumping pillows were closed (though inflated) even though the hours are "dawn to dusk". Another camper mentioned that this was because the key to the lock was lost, and said that we could indeed use the jumping area if we could climb the fence (which seemed to be true since, again, the pillows were inflated). It was just a little weird but was fixed by Saturday. Besides that, there were a few things like broken pedal cars and broken shuffleboard sticks. I'm not really sure if that's the park's fault, or if it's just unfortunate that people aren't respectful of property. Regardless, there was a lot more available on weekends (expected) and things seemed to run a bit better, too. The playground is really great though, and the kids had a lot of fun on the large jungle gym. There were also some little extras like gem mining, and the little food truck in the pool area was open even when the pool needed to close due to the weather. **Staff** The staff are really nice, and I only have good things to say about my interactions with them! **Extras** I wish I had known to rent a golf cart in advance! Even though we were in walking distance of everything, it would have been fun to have to option to zip around in a golf cart. There were also golf cart parades with themes that would have been fun to participate in. They were unfortunately sold out/not available to add on last minute, but I'd recommend it for next time! There was an AWESOME fireworks show for the holiday weekend, too. Thankfully they were set off as planned, since, again, it was rainy and cold. There is a Jellystone app. Note that the QR code the staff gives out at check-in takes you to the Android app, but there is an iOS app in the app store. I highly recommend downloading it, because it updates you on camp alerts and activities, complete with reminders and notifications of any changes. There is also a reward program that I found out about during my stay. I'd recommend signing up prior to booking because I wasn't able to get my purchases to reflect on the rewards after I signed up mid-trip, but I'll know for next time.

Love the campground, it's always clean and staff is helpful. Pricing is pretty high when some of the amenities aren't able to be accessed. There was a tree that was falling down from wind storm and they were quick to move the campers that were in the area.

Absolutely a blast! I haven't been camping in probably 30 years and wanted to take my adventurous 5 year old! This place did not disappoint. Very family and pet friendly. Staff was amazing and all very helpful. We rented a cozy cabin mainly for bathroom access and it was situated in a great location close to all the activities but far enough away for it to be quiet. Clean and due to COVID you bring your own sheets, towels, and pillows which was no big deal. Only complaint and it really isn't even valid was the mattress. Great for camping, just not great for my 45 year old back.....but it's camping! Next time I will bring a tempurpedic mattress topper like I had on deployments! Lots of activities gem mining, mini golf, fishing and my daughter caught her first fish, movie night, meet and greet Yogi and friends, and the pool/spash pad! Yes its more costly than your typical KOA camp but this place has a ton of things to do and most are included in the price! The only thing we didn't get to do was the pillow bounce because it was being replaced. Next time we will bring food to cook but didn't want to take on too much since this was our first time camping in a long time! They do have a food shack that wasn't too bad at the pool and the store has a some options. Other than that I didn't see any fast food options on the drive in but the Amish were there Saturday morning selling fresh baked goods. We even saw horse and buggies on the road while we were driving in. All in all a fantastic mini-vacay and my daughter had a blast saying over and over, this is the best day ever!
