Nice campground. Stayed in November in the back, bordering the farm and would not recommend that area. They were fertilizing and it smelled. Very spacious site but not level front to back. A little tight getting into our site but the site itself was wonderful. Lots of great amenities. Best for families with younger kids.
It was a great time had by all one of the nicest places to camp at . The facility's were clean . Alot to do in the area. The camp ground had things to do so you didn't have to leave the property if you didn't want to. There is a shopping center not to far from the camp ground.
Large sites. Friendly and helpful staff. We were in the back, near the cornfield. The farmers were fertilizing the fields and there were times it was very pungent! That is to be expected in farm country. We will definitely return.
Since being under new ownership, and management, the park is really suffering. The prices are continuously increasing making it harder to come, and the cleanliness of the park is suffering. Hiring kids that just want to play instead of work is not helping. They hang out more than work, and speed around the park in gas powered golf carts while kids are walking the streets and playing. The water continuously goes out, and takes forever to turn back on so make sure you come with full tanks. Also for a park that has rules about mean, and/or barking dogs, the staff won't do anything about them. Hearing dogs bark all night, and get into fights during the day is super anoying. Ownership obviously neglects to take care of their employees which would make them prideful to work there. And do better, and their part to keep people coming back. The increasing prices with no signs of upkeep or updating will cause this place to loose business. They are running out the families who return for both camp and stores each year along with other weekends in between. Also, this park lowered their fall camp and store from 4 weeks down to 3 weeks a while back due to leap year, but has yet to bring back the 4th week. Therefore you end up paying more money for 3 weeks in the fall than you do for 4 weeks in the spring. Our family has spent the last few years booking 7-8 weeks a year here. If things don't change by next spring, we will not be returning, nor will the 8-10 other families we camp there with. All of this really stinks because our kids love going there to see their friends. It is close to home, but at this point our group would rather drive hours to a cleaner better priced park that has more and better amenities.…
It was great. We had a blast with all the events and activities that were offered and available! We will definitely be making an annual trip to yogi bear each fall! Thank you for your hospitality!!!!!
Took a small girl scout troop camping for Halloween - they had a blast trick or treating and loved the haunted forest. We did not get to do everything because there was just not enough time. They loved the jump pillows and mini golf too. Everything was clean.
GREAT TIME. Very clean, everyone was super nice. Great for kids. Price is a little higher than some places but they do alot for the kids . Hay ride was fun and for everyone. Every weekend in October was Halloween decorating. Some people go all out. If you plan on going in October...plan ahead, the weekends fill up quickly.
Safe park with great sites and amenities during season. Off season is still a great place where kids can be kids. Roads are wide enough for me as a newer trailer driver. Usually go every year with a group of about 20 and we book multiple sites in a row to have a communal area. Bathrooms are well maintained and the new single bathhouse rooms are fabulous.
For the second year in a row, our 3 side by side sites for our family campout was split up by another camper who said "this is where they put us". I complained last year that sites JT8, JT9, & JT10 had no, or wrong site numbers. Very disappointed and shocked when we arrived again this year to find another trailer on our site. The amount of $$$ they charge makes you wonder why we're paying it. Might be looking at Spring Gulch if it happens next year.
The cost has gotten astronomical. There is no value. After paying the exuberant registration fees, you get charged for every other little thing. The one no charge amenity, mini golf, has clearly not had upkeep done in years
