We stayed there with multiple families for a Volleyball Tournament over the memorial holiday. It was the hotel that was booked by the organization as a "must stay to play" hotel by the organization. When we arrived they did not have a room for us or 2 other families (and there were more) - somehow these were all families who had changed from 3 to 2 nights. Rooms had been booked month in advance. After long debates we finally got rooms and for $169 this was absolutely sub standard. Here my experience, followed by my friend family. 1) In my room the air condition was absolutely broken. After back and forth the reception lady organized a fan that then was running all night to have at least air circulation (no windows to open close). 2) Friends families had a) clogged toilet b) bad smelling room c) centipede in the room 3) Breakfast (supposedly included in price) on the first day didnt have yoghurt or fruits left at 9 am (supposed to go to 10 am) and only minimal set of packed danish or bagel. The waffle machine was broken. 4) The next day. we got different rooms (one room i needed to decline due to the smell (sort of humid/smoker smell) which didnt expose the issues above lbut for breakfast at 8.30 am there was even not a single slice of bread nor bagels nor yoghurt nor fruits left. Finally, when asking whether the hotel would be willing to reduce price or do any other form of compensation for the hastle and bad rooms we had the hotel said they wont. So in my view this justifies a total ranking of at most 1. I do not recommend to anyone to book this hotel.

We travel frequently and this was the worst hotel that we ever stayed at. Reasons: they refuse to provide soap and shampoo to guest, the pool was closed the whole week we stayed, in mid-June, no microwaves in rooms, no exhaust in bathrooms, the a/c blowers in the room are extremely loud, no a/c in the hallways, coffee-makers in the room was filthy and never cleaned and the front desk staff during the day was very ignorant. WE WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!

The room was very clean, and nice. Front desk staff were friendly. In a good location if you’re looking to be close to the city but not in the city. Pool looked nice, didn’t actually swim though. As a note, the room keys are SUPER sensitive, I had mine in my purse and it deactivated because it was close to my wallet and/or phone but I’m not sure where you can keep it if it can’t be near either of those. However the front desk staff was very nice about reactivating it for my room. Overall a good deal for a nice hotel.

We stayed Memorial Day Weekend for a volleyball tournament, arranged by the tournament booking system and our club. I frequently travel for my job and tournaments, and our experience here was the worst I’ve ever had. I advise travelers to avoid this failing hotel at all costs. The location and ample parking were the only pros. Key cards stopped working EVERY NIGHT, hair dryer didn't work (needed to blow dry uniform socks after walking on wet carpet), cheap prepackaged breakfast ran out for the ENTIRE weekend by 8 a.m. Sunday morning, pool was closed despite being advertised as opening memorial day weekend, housekeeping ran out of trash can liners, “on the hour” shuttle was 15 mins late, no fridge or microwave, no ice machines working Sunday. This facility is also in dire need of renovation: no a.c. in the lobby and bar area, dirty/worn carpets, an unsecured exterior exit, run down everywhere - photos showing otherwise are old and taken when the hotel was new/a Crowne Plaza. The real kicker: Sunday at 6:30 a.m. a part in the toilet tank broke and kept the tank running. It flooded the bathroom and room carpet in minutes. We were offered towels and told maintenance would be hours. Towels weren't sent. Thankfully we shut off the water or it would have flooded for 4.5 hrs although the manager called and offered the “van guy” to take a look. Maintenance fixed at 11 a.m. I also believe I was charged for incidentals but can't get an itemized receipt or any response. Steer clear.

The stay and the front desk staff was good enough for a cheap stay. You have to take about a 10 min drive to get to the downtown area, which is pretty convenient. If you are choosing to stay here for the continental breakfast, it's fine if you are ok with your traditional cold fare. Refrigerated baked goods, coffee, tea, juice, but that's about it. Waffle maker was broken (likely not in use). The wait staff seem as though they have been directed carefully ration food, When I asked about the one orange that was left in a steel bowl, and requested more fruit, I was told that this was a free complimentary breakfast. That was around 9 am, which was well within the 6:30 - 10am window for accessing the 'breakfast' When I asked if that was all that was left, she just smiled and directed me to the coffee, tea, and toast. The swimming pool was still closed, so to follow up on someone else's review and the response of "We open the pool on Memorial Day weekend, it's now Monday of the weekend, and the pool is closed and looking in pretty rough shape.
