The hotel us older but clean and nearby all places we needed to visit. Breakfast was good and convenient. Coffee available most of the say and fresh baked cookies in the evening. The best part of our stay was the front desk staff. Maddy went out of her way to help us with a problem! The other staff were welcoming and friendly. Reasonable rates.

We were very happy with the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. Our "No Smoking " room did NOT smell like stale smoke from years ago, like some have. The complimentary breakfast was much better than most, and the gentleman, Carie I believe, who was working in the Pantry, did an excellent job of making sure everything was well stocked and neatly organized. I never saw him slow down, not even for a second; well maybe a second or two to greet or say Hello to the guests.

The location for this hotel is good just off I 376 with an easy 8 min drive into downtown Pittsburgh. Nice and quiet. Rooms are very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Due to Covid 19 no hot breakfast was served, however they did offer grab bags and hot coffe and other items at request (cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit). Fast check in and check out. Great Rate. Sooooffft comfy bed and bedding.

First let me state I have no issues with the staff whom I interacted with. They were quite pleasant and courteous. Yet to be truthful this hotel needs some help. To be sure Covid plays a part in this, too. A very scaled back breakfast with few offerings such as individually wrapped plain bagels, blueberry muffins, mandarin orange cup, and individual cups of orange juice-every day. No variety with the exception of not having orange juice the second day. I did get them to agree to putting out a pitcher of orange juice for guests that day. Thank you, manager. Hot water (for tea) and light roast coffee were the only hot drinks available. As for the room I have never in all my years have had fitted sheets that constantly come off the bed. I found myself sleeping on the bare mattress frustrated and exhausted. There was only one end table by the bed. The electrical outlet was blocked by mattress as it was behind the bed. The other outlet on the other side where there was a couch was partially inset in which the outlet cover prevented you from plugging in your charger completely. Ahhhh! The small coffee pot’s reservoir was so disgusting I refused to use it. Sure, I could have gotten another one but lost interest in making a cup of coffee. The bathroom had paint peeling off the ceiling and no exhaust vent. Imagine being the second person to shower. The mirrors were all fogged and you were dripping with sweat while toweling off. The hot water in the sink never got hot and the drain needed a good cleaning as it drained very slowly. We only had one set of towels, etc. They did give you more towels at the desk when requested plus if you wanted body lotion it was at the desk to be requested, also. Here’s the good points. It was relatively inexpensive and only 4 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. There was both a frig and microwave in the room and the ice machine was close by. Wait- they also had chocolate chip cookies on the weekend. That was nice. I suspect many folks stay here only night and move on as their travels dictate. We stayed three nights.

Worst Hampton Inn experience I've had. We stayed 2 nights. Where to start? Some may be caused by the location I stayed at, some may be a reflection of corporate policy. First, the room was dirty. The supposedly put us in a room that was clean. Bathroom mirror dirty, hair in the tub, overall dirty room. The room we prebooked the day before wasn't ready even though we arrived nearly 2 hours later than we said we would. So,obviously the digital kety we requested wouldn't be available either. Breakfast is pathetic. What's happened to Hampton? That's why we stay at Hamptons. Don't blame it on COVID because this breakfast (bagel in a bag, hard boiled egg in a bag and a muffin) was just lazy. Then, they don't clean rooms or change towels (unknown to us). When we asked for new towels, they said they don't do that anymore. Supposedly, you have to leave dirty towels outside your room and they'll drop off new ones. We did just that at noon (with the housekeeping cart right across the hall so they were up there) and when we got back after the wedding we attended at 10:30 the towels were gone but we discovered, after getting into our pajamas that we didn't have new ones. We called the front desk and they didn't apologize and asked us to come get new ones. We were in our pajamas already! She brought them up again with no apology. I don't think they have enough staff. Lazy companies blame COVID, good ones shine through, this one certainly didn't. I wouldn't stay there again. I don't know if this is an indication of a corporate shift or just this one but our "go too" hotel chain has been Hampton and I'm thinking twice about that going forward.

We checked in late on Friday evening, Upon check-in the staff was very unfriendly, unmasked, there was no recognition of being a Hilton Honors member or offering any of the Hilton benefits such as the bottled water. Due to the time we basically went straight up to the room, left to grab a bite, came back and went to sleep and didn't use any of that facilities in the room. The next morning I began to shower and dress in the bathroom of which I noticed how dirty our bathroom was. I saw a wod of hair on the bathroom vanity shelf along with a used flosser. Then I was going to heat something up in the microwave and saw how dirty the microwave was. There was also mold spots with paint falling off the bathroom ceiling. At that point I actually looked for a different hotel but was unsuccessful. We were in town for the weekend to move our son into college and the only reason we had that hotel booked was because our pet was traveling with us and it was pet friendly. Outside none of the pet areas were kept up and there were no doggy bags for the dog waste. The entire property was just unmaintained and unsanitary. The breakfast was also very poor and there was no one mask and it was the most crowded hotel I've stayed at recently. We were uncomfortable and not at all what Hilton advertises. I have nothing positive that I can say about this property. The dirty microwave and the dirty bathroom was beyond disgusting and made me feel that the rest of room could not be clean either. It definitely was not of Hilton standard nor was it worth the cost of it per night. I definitely could not recommend this property. I feel like I should be given a full refund. Very poor that customers still pay same precovid price but hotel makes nothing but cut backs and decrease service, amenities, and cleanliness.

The door to the first room we were given was propped open and the room smelled horrible. We went back to the front desk and they weren’t the nicest, but they gave us another room. They said that the first room is being worked on and shouldn’t have even been in the system. While we were at the front desk there was another women saying that her room was filthy. Housekeeping was having to go clean her room that was supposed to be clean in the first place. They told her that the hotel was full, so there weren’t any extra rooms.
When we got to our second room it wasn’t very clean either. There was hair on the pillows, the carpet wasn’t clean, the couch had stains on it, the bed sheet had a stain on it, the bath towels were falling apart, among other things. Thankfully we always bring cleaning supplies to hotels, so we were able to make the room a little cleaner. We went to the store and bought pillow cases, because we didn’t trust that the hotel’s replacement pillow cases would be clean either.
Apparently they had painted the tub at some point, because the paint was chipping from the bottom of the tub. That doesn’t seem healthy. We wore shoes in the shower since we didn’t trust it.
The hallway carpet and the elevator floors were both filthy. It looks like the hotel doesn’t even own a vacuum or know how to use one.
Before going to bed that night we noticed that other cars had a parking permit on their dash. We had to ask the front desk for a parking permit and was met with attitude. That is something that should be given to guests upon check in.
When we went to check out, there wasn’t anyone at the desk. The alarm went off telling them that someone was waiting, yet no one showed up. We actually had to leave because we had a time schedule and had to be somewhere. I had to come back and check out.
This hotel needs to improve housekeeping and the front desk’s customer service training.

Planned a short family get away and decided to go to Pittsburgh. The reviews online and pictures of the place and the amenities offered was why we chose to stay here. When we arrived we found out that the pool was closed to our disappointment. One of our 2 rooms had a horrible smell of cat pee and there were no other rooms available. Hard to believe because there weren’t many travelers in the parking lot. I known it’s because they didn’t have enough staff to clean the rooms and only the amount needed were cleaned that day. We would of waited to have one cleaned. Hard to believe the person that actually cleaned that room didn’t notice the horrible smell!

It was okay - not great, not bad. Check in was quick and friendly. The morning desk clerk was very friendly. The cookies that were out in the evening were delicious, and breakfast was good as well.
The beds were comfortable and the room was nicely laid out. But there were some issues. The temperature was hard to regulate, there were few open outlets available for charging devices (and none near the beds), and a disgusting amount of dust was found behind the beds when looking for an outlet.
The shower was good, but the floor of it was a little dingy. The soap bars were little slivers that broke when you opened the package and that barely lathered. The shampoo and conditioner were different brands, which was fine but odd. The towels were very scratchy.
The rate was reasonable compared to downtown rates, but not quite worth the quality of the hotel. I might stay again though, given the location and rate.

Hello yes we do travel to and from the casino.
I dont see why not because it takes you into town which is atleast 10min. You could always call and ask Hampton Inn in Greentree
Not really. It’s a 5 minute drive and you could walk in nice weather maybe but it would be far.
We do! Thank you for asking. It is a sign-up only shuttle so just be sure to inquire about with the front desk at the time of check-in in order to save a seat.
Have a good one!
