And the Parador Inn couldn't have been more hospitable and lovely. We felt like we were staying in Victorian museum. Ed, the owner, was extremely friendly and served an amazing and tasty breakfast. We'll be back:)

Parador inn is a beautiful place to stay one or several nights. A refurbished 1800s mansion bed and breakfast but way more than typical B&B. All the rooms are large and beautiful. All rooms have a fireplace, TV and refrigerator. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are super clean. Located on the north shore downtown. Free parking. Walk to Heinz field, PNC Park, Aviary and casino. Pandemic was going on so there are plenty of places to walk around. Area is very safe. Ed, the owner cooks you a wonderful breakfast every morning. He has two well behaved dogs that you will fall in love with even if you aren’t an animal lover. Thanks again Ed and “kids” for another amazing stay. We will definitely be back.

Words can't express the treasure that is the Parador Inn. When we pulled up we were immediately impressed with the unique property down to the colors of the paint and wind chimes which hinted of it's Caribbean atmosphere. We were met by Ed (fabulous guy!) who offered to show us around the lower half of this beautiful mansion that he said was built around 1880; every corner was stunning and beautifully decorated, so much so that I took pictures of every area. We met their two Labradors RJ and Rayzette who's jobs are to not only greet everyone but they are also over hospitality. 5 stars guys. The courtyard is lovely and we had dinner outside under a decorative 4 1/2 ft parrot on a swing enjoying a pond and manicured area listening to birds. Our room was amazing. It was large, clean and the bed very comfortable. There were two seating areas, a fireplace, large original clawfoot tub with shower and every corner screamed Caribbean Island getaway. We slept like babies and my husband enjoyed one of the best breakfasts he has ever had. The location is perfection, walking distance to restaurants, the casino and ball park. Our stay was for a surgery at Allegheny General and we can proudly say that it is a 5 minute drive if you need to be there very early. We will be back, and soon! This is the perfect weekend hideaway. You won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Parador Inn overnight for a little R&R. We are from the area and treated it as a staycation. We walked to the T to visit downtown and then walked to a pub in the Mexican War Streets. This part of town is absolutely stunning and such a unique escape from the other parts of Pittsburgh. The room was so comfy and smelled SO good. The entire stay was whimsical - don't get me started on those pooches. RJ & Rayzette are the best hosts (and so is human Ed). They are the cutest black labs who want to be your best friend. The overall atmosphere of the Parador Inn is so luxurious but comfy - all at the same time! Ed was a wonderful host and told us some great stories about the property and the dogs. Breakfast was such a treat and was especially intimate because we had the entire dining room to ourselves! If you are stopping in Pittsburgh for a weekend trip or looking to have a quick getaway from your normal apartment - this is the place to do it! The Parador gives great atmosphere, great company, and great food!

Great location, beautiful old masion and a really great host/owner (Ed)...5 stars. This is the place to stay in Pittsburgh, very close to Heinz Field...10 minute walk, whether a bunch of guys, or with your wife...I've done both. John

Hi John, Unfortunately, I don't know who you are, I like to give a personal thank you. More than your kind words, I would like to thank you for taking the time to share them with the world. A business cannot buy advertising as powerful as a personal recommendation. Thanx again look forward to hosting you again. ed
