We stumbled upon this B&B by accident and sure glad we did!! The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and our room (The Oleander) was phenomenal. Ed the owner, and his staff were wonderful. We enjoyed hearing about the house from Ed, who has done an excellent job. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Breakfast is served, freshly prepared at the... More

Hi Amber, I saw your review on Trip Advisor, I watch reviews closely, they are huge in my business. Normally, I respond publicly to negative reviews and privately to positive ones. I don't have your email address, so had to thank you through Trip Advisor. A business can't buy advertising as powerful as a personal recommendation. More than that I... More

Since we found the Inn, we have stayed there every time we stay in Pittsburgh. Its close to all the major events, and in reasonable distance to shopping. Food is nearby or travel as you prefer. We love the place!

Had to be in Pittsburgh the weekend of the US Open and was having trouble finding lodging. The Parador popped up and what a delightful discovery it was. Too lovely for words, you must see it yourself. Clean, comfortable & cozy. The rooms/suites are spacious and wonderfully decorated with a few whimsical surprises tucked in. The downstairs common areas are... More

What an absolutely charming Bed and Breakfast in Pittsburgh on the North Side of the city. Within walking distance to PNC Park, this B and B has a Caribbean theme, with beautiful rooms. Lovingly restored to its former splendor as a wealthy mansion of old, the inn boasts high ceilings, beautiful period pieces that are not reproductions. The breakfasts were... More

This time we tried the "Bird of Paradise" room for 3 nights and had an absolutely FABULOUS time. Ed and his staff are such wonderful people and they go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. This room had a HUGE clawfoot tub that was SO comfortable in which to soak after a... More

The Parador Inn is a great place to stay when visiting Pittsburgh. I came in for a business trip, but the experience definitely has me thinking of a return trip to do more exploring. I have stayed in many hotels, condos, and resort type of lodging facilities and I have to say the atmosphere and warmth of this B&B ranks... More

We made the Parador Inn our home base for a wonderful three-day weekend exploring Pittsburgh. No regrets, but we found the B&B to be something of a mixed bag. On the positive side: - Our room was very comfortable and the bed made for some good nights of sleep. - Dee, the housekeeper, is a delight. So friendly, eager and... More

One of my favorite birthday presents. Perfect spot for visiting Pittsburgh. Walk to PNC park, the Casino, Heinz Field, Aviary, Science Center and the "T". Business travelers will find the Parador beautiful, relaxing, with a gourmet breakfast to start any morning. Thanks Ed.

I stayed at this beautiful B and B in the North Side of Pittsburgh for the weekend of the marathon. Before going I knew it had the following qualities: walking distance to PNC Field and the T(their subway), spacious rooms, gorgeous house in a cool neighborhood. That's already great. What made it even better were the deliciously home-cooked breakfasts, very... More

My husband and I just returned from an overnight stay. Our purpose of the stay was the Steelers Fan Blitz and this was also our first time to Pittsburgh. Ed was a great host and the accommodations were very comfortable and definitely different (in a good way) from the usual B&B's we've stayed in. We stayed in the Chenille room... More
