We got our 2 rooms only to find 1 had not been cleaned (gross). Staff was helpful and even the manager rushed to take care of it. Just felt a little u easy as I was t sure how “clean” it really was. But I travel with Lysol so I did a bit of my own cleaning. We were offered breakfast passes, which we didn’t get a chance to use, but we appreciated the consideration. They also allowed us a late checkout on the day we left without charging us. All in all it was a good stay.

Good location for tourists and ball games. Hilton quality throughout. Parking garage is separate so had to take 2 different elevators but not a big deal; was $30 a night to park. No concierge or other information available so know where you are going and how to get there beforehand.

Very RUDE staff. I checked in close to midnight after a 23 hours flight. I had issues with the heating system in the room. I asked for help, they weren't able to offer a solution or an apology. They moved me in the middle of the night to another room with the same issue!! Condescending attitude, 0 customer service. Hilton do you even train your employees?! And why do you keep employees that clearly have nothing to do with hospitality?????

So there was good interaction prior to my showing up. I had several issues getting there. Thought I was going to have to cancel my stay after doing online check in. Chatted with Amanda and Jason , during my multiple delays . The person that checked me in was extremely helpful , professional and informative. Got up extremely early the next morning and Asa was on. We talked for a decent amount of time as I drank my coffee and she tended to other guests. You could tell she enjoys what she does and values the customers. I was then asking directions and she helped me with that . The next morning I was leaving , she came out and asked are you checking out , said good bye , and exchanged several other pleasantries . She is fantastic and an asset to HGI. I will also say this is one of few Hilton properties that got the Food and beverage credit right without any issue. I don't know that I will have the need to stay here again, but if I'm in the area , I'll make sure I do .

While I knew that I would have to pay for parking during our stay, what was not communicated was the extravagant cost. I stayed here on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I had to pay $15 when leaving after less than 2 hours and then $50 for overnight of less than 12 hours. That is an excessive amount to pay for parking and the hotel should look into some sort of deal with the parking garage company. The hotel was very nice and the restaurant was an excellent choice for breakfast on Sunday before leaving the city.

The rooms are okay but the customer service is non-existent We dealt with three individuals at the front desk- one young woman was polite but either new or just not knowledgeable; the other woman was flippant snd the “gentleman” was condescending, rude and arrogant We just spent 3 days at a Hilton in NYC and the service and people were great…very ironic that it’s in Pittsburgh that we experience the attitude typically associated with NY Very disappointing.

First time visit for a downtown wedding. The location is convenient and the rooms are nice. The problem is the front desk. The young girl at check-in on Saturday after lunch could not be bothered to share even the most basic hotel information. She also did not mention that we needed reservations for breakfast due to the Steelers game on Sunday, even when I had to ask about our daily dining credit! Pure lazy attitude.

We stayed here during a recent college visit to Pitt. It is downtown and convenient to everything. A short train ride to the stadium and not too far from the university, it was a great place to stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to several restaurants. Would stay here again. Parking located in adjacent garage.

Issues with broken ice maker, Revel restaurant food was soso. Parking was not clear from street. Was told by front desk man that it would take care of but at checkout we were charged $30. We were given a free breakfast ticket of which the food was poorly prepared, cold and overcooked shrimp on grits.

I was very disappointed with this hotel of choice. It definitely did not stand up to its brand. This is the second time I’ve stayed at a Hilton hotel and was not pleased. These hotels were in different states with some of the same issues. So, this is telling me why would I dare stay again! I’m truly done with Hilton honors brands. They’re charging like a five star hotel but in reality they’re only 2 star quality.
