Our experience at this hotel was wonderful from beginning to end. The parking garage was easily accessible to the hotel lobby, the front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful, our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location was great!! We would highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn, and will stay here again ourselves when in Pittsburgh.
This is a great hotel if you want to be in the heart of the city. It's very close to Market Square and there are lots of options for food and entertainment. We stayed there before a Pirates game and we couldn't have been happier. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!
This hotel is right by Market Square. We attended a concert in the downtown area and it was perfect. All the staff members were so nice and the room was clean and lovely. We’ll stay here again when we return to downtown Pittsburgh.
Went to Pittsburgh in February 2023. This hotel had none of the amenities that Hilton hotels are known for. There was no pool, we had to pay to park....$30.00 a day.... we wanted to eat at Revel because they had a sign that said breakfast from 7am to 10 am.... we got there at 9:20 am to eat, and were told no breakfast, just brunch. The brunch menu was overpriced and not very good. My husband ordered Belgian Waffles, and was given 3 smaller than Eggo waffles for $14.00. I ordered eggs, and wasn't given any toast. Everything is ala carte. Hotel and room were both old and dated. We were never given clean towels, and the room was just average for 300.00 per night. Very disappointed, We will not be returning to this hotel on our next stay in Pittsburgh.
Unbeatable location for Christmas Market! Steps from Market Square. On site public parking. Lots of restaurant options close by. Convenient CVS across the street for essentials. Large clean Junior suite with comfortable bed. Great breakfast of chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits at on site restaurant, Revel. Docked 1 star because front desk initially did not have our reservation as a Breakfast package which I had paid for. But corrected eventually. Overall great stay! Would stay again for Christmas Market in the future.
A very decent hotel. The room was spotless and the beds comfy and clean. Internet service and tv channel selection were limited and slow. The gym could have been really nice except hand weights were missing and the recumbent bike was not working. The area around the hotel was sketchy and I felt unsafe as an older woman walking alone. There is a CVS drug store immediately across the street which was helpful. Parking was very easy and worth every penny. We didn't eat at the restaurant but they had a good selection (limited vegan offerings but some). There are lots of restaurants close by. If you need to be in this area, its a good place to stay
The location of this hotel cannot be beat for touring Pittsburgh. There are many bars and restaurants nearby and the football stadium and casino are an easy walk. The staff were very professional and courteous. Jessie at the front desk went out of her way to make us feel special.
We stayed here for a wedding in Pittsburgh. The hotel staff and valet staff were kind. However, the price for the room was outrageously overpriced. The handle on our sink did not work so we only had cold water and the air conditioner raddled all night. The room was probably the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Valet parking was convenient but extremely expensive to park here as self parking was not even an option. Breakfast and coffee was extra as well. Paying over 200$ per night for a room and you can’t even get a free breakfast. I would not choose to stay here again simply for not getting what you pay for.
My husband and I stayed for the evening and we enjoyed our accommodations. Our room was clean with everything we needed and the front desk even provided a toothbrush since mine was left at home. The room was quiet which allowed for a much needed day of sleeping in.
This hotel was not up to my standards for what Hilton is known for. The good thing is that the rooms were clean and renovated. The bad thing is that the customer service was horrible because the front desk staff were not knowledgeable, there was poor communication, and they made us wait too long for the room for the price we paid. The good thing is that the person gave us free snacks and free parking because of the situation; but there was more they could have done. For example, the front desk staff could have assigned us the room in the afternoon although it was not ready. Instead, they made us wait until 11:45 pm to check into the room. They also could have been honest whether or not we had free breakfast included in the package or not because the answer varried from staff. I do not know if I will ever stay at another Hilton property elsewhere. I will certainly look at other places before deciding HIlton.…
