When we checked in the room had an offensive body odor smell and the duvet on the bed had make-up smeared on it. It was obviously not changed. We had to go out and buy a Glade plug in to get the pungent smell out of the room. Parking was non-existent, we had a terrible time finding a place to park here. Front desk staff were up and down - one of them was awesome and gave me bottled water every day ( I am Gold) but another one said it was the brand policy to only give water at check-in and made me buy it. ???? Positives - great location, walkability is fantastic. I understand no housekeeping for 4 nights but I had to go downstairs to get more towels myself. Don't think I would stay here again...

Hotel's Favorite
We were in Pittsburgh for the Taylor Swift concert and this hotel hit it out of the park for us! Super handout with directions to Acrisure Arena, menus for ordering food in the lobby, an awesome Taylor cardboard cut-out for my kids to pose with, Taylor music playing with our free breakfast — we loved it!! The employees were always friendly, always greeted us, always happy to answer questions! I travel a lot and the service here was top notch! Thank you for a fantastic time! My kids said instead of 2 nights, we should have stayed 5!!

We stayed at hotel from Tuesday before Thanksgiving through Saturday after holiday. Location is very good for getting to many neighborhoods, museums and restaurants. My deduction in rating was for housekeeping. I understand it was a holiday week with probably less staff on hand, but when we first arrived I felt room was not as pristine as I would have liked (I admit I'm a bit more picky than most). I had to unload dishwasher and do a bit of cleaning of floor cleaning in kitchen. Possibly due to staff shortages and/or post covid there were no extra tissues, toilet paper, scott towels or dishwasher liquid to be found. During our 4 night stay (Thursday was holiday) there was no housekeeping. Breakfast was ample, but during peak time of 9 or 9:30 at one point folks were waiting for utensils, plates and some food items to be refilled. Half glass shower door allowed quite a bit of water to leak onto floor so towels needed to soak excess. Just a bad design and execution. Location is close to strip district and many attractions.…

4 night stay - in town for two football games with some sightseeing in between. Great location - walkable to many things including the Heinz Museum and many restaurants and shops. Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful in every way possible. Only negatives - which was minor - was that there is a bunch of construction nearby that hindered using the sidewalk nearby and that we had to request housekeeping service. Otherwise great stay and we would return !

The hotel was everything you would expect from a Hilton property. We had a lovely room with a full kitchen. Breakfast was also very nice with a large selection of food available. Location was also very nice with the strip district within walking distance. Only complaint I have is that the dishwasher was not emptied (but clean) before we entered our room. That is the only reason why I'm rating it very good instead of excellent.

Great location - quite even though between highway and strip district - I always ask for river facing room away from highway. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would say this is really a 4.5 but I will round up for overall satisfaction which is hard to find these days! The parking is probably the one thing I don't like - there are two levels and don't even try the top level- entrance from back side road is almost impossible to make turn into without 4 to 6 back ups... all garage parking is very inefficient - they didn't do a good job - but, plenty of overflow parking next door in lot. $19 a day to self park - but taxes are like $8! So kinda steep. The hotel itself is disjointed - lobby on 2nd level and you can't get to rooms from entrance - you have to take two diff elevators. Nice fitness center and rooftop area w/ chairs, firepit and grills! We didn't use it -but for a longer stay I think we would! Pool and shuffleboard with big TV and fireplace in extended lobby area are great. Breakfast was pretty good too. Weekends no evening social so we missed that. Rooms are very spacious and well appointed. I will say we were missing some kitchen items but they were brought right away. love having full size fridge and freezer - this is why we stay here - we buy so much food to take home - its great to freeze and travel! I was only granted a 12:30 late check out which was kinda bummer - but, full w-end w/ Pitt and Steeler home games... …

As one who has traveled over the years, when seeking a hotel, I look for one that offers some amenities such as breakfast, parking (with or without a fee), and a gym, and as importantly, one that is in a great location to be able to walk or take public transportation. Not only was my room with a kitchenette type set up terrific, quiet and my bed was very comfortable, this property checked all of the boxes as to what I look for when researching hotels. This hotel was walkable to downtown and in and around the Strip District as well as walking over a few bridges too! And, aside from being such a wonderful stay, the staff were amazing too, all were extremely friendly and helpful! If you are looking for a hotel in this part of Pittsburgh, and easy enough to drive to other areas, I highly recommend staying here!…

We had stayed at this Homewood Suites when we last visited Pittsburgh about 5 years ago. When we discovered we would be back in the area again, we decided to head back to the hotel. We're happy to say the hotel is just as good as we remembered. The best thing about the hotel was Thomas at the front desk. What a good guy! He was fun, friendly and very helpful, reminding us how to get to our favorite restaurant, Primanti Brothers. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only negative to mention was that on the upper floors of the hotel, you are at an equal height to a busy freeway so there is some noise (I'm a fairly light sleeper and still got a good night's sleep). We would definitely recommend this Homewood Suites if you find yourself in the downtown Pittsburgh area.

Nice place to stay. The hotel rooms were very clean, however, I was surprised that the shower didn’t have a door or curtain, just a walk-in, which often left the bathroom floor wet. The bathroom also doesn’t lock. The hotel is within walking distance of several attractions including PNC Park and the David Lawrence Convention Center-since my main goal was to attend an event at the DLCC, this was extremely convenient. Breakfast was solid, and the rooms were kept *freezing* which is exactly the way I like it, (but a fair warning to everyone).

Great hotel, location, helpful staff, good price, room has everything you need. Nice bar, pool table, convenient little store, nice gym and pool. Loved the free breakfast. We were able to walk the entire strip district and to the stadiums and downtown.
