First I want to thank Jessica at the hotel for getting me to the hotel after the Garmin GPS took me over the Allegheny and Ohio Rivers at least 7 times before I got frustrated and called for help. The on site parking under the highway was nice and was worth the $25 a day. The staff in general were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and looks like they've been renovated. Small room fridge looked new but it had no thermostat. Fridge could have been colder but no freezer compartment which comes in handy to freeze ice packs or whatever for traveling. There was also no room safe and the indoor pool was small but cozy....lol No hot breakfast due to Covid guidelines but you did get bagged breakfast which was an apple, packaged muffin, granola bar and a bottle of water. The hotel does charge your credit card for incidentals but it's returned upon checkout if you have none. PNC Bank stadium (Pittsburg Pirates) is right across the street and The North Shore Tavern across from the stadium had good eats. My room was next to the highway, literally next to it. See picture. It was a bit noisy. If you like artwork by Andy Warhol, the museum about a block away is worth checking out.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here during the recent Covid 19 madness on June 30'th for 2 nights. Front desk check in was fast and friendly! I stayed in room 705 it's one of the suites with a city view facing the Roberto Clemente Bridge with a fabulous view of the Pittsburgh skyline! Best view in all of Pittsburgh along with the Duquesne Incline which a must see attraction in the Burgh! The bed was super comfy! The Wifi was fast and just fantastic! The TV had lots of channels! The AC was nice and quiet and worked great! I requested a extra hour late checkout for 12:PM instead of 11 and the front desk manager I believe her name is Jessica was more than happy to help me! PNC Park is just one block south across the street! There is a great pub called North Shore Tavern! Great beer and steak! I took a LYFT to get to the hotel from PGH Airport and it was only $34 dollars which is not bad! I will definitely stay here in the future when things are hopefully back to normal! Fantastic location and Pittsburgh is a fantastic city! Be sure to go to Primanti Brothers at Market Square! They offer 6 packs or beer to go which is a plus since it's hard to find beer for sale in PA! Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Pros Steps from PNC Park and a couple of bars. Rooms were tidy and updated. Good temperature controls. Good internet Cons Sketchy surface lot parking with shady characters lurking around. Thin walls and doors. Expect to hear your neighbors. Unhelpful front desk in the morning who just laughed and said “again” when I told her they were out of coffee (rather than, “oh, sorry, let me brew some more”) Hockey and volleyball teams stayed here during our visit and crowded the lobby at all hours, including a dad drinking beer at 9 am Covid stuff Room was not made up during two night stay Zero social distancing or masking by most idiotic guests staying here Grab and go breakfast only during Covid. Includes bottled water, muffin, granola bar, and low quality apple or orange. Low quality items. Pool requires reservations to use. Good luck getting one.

I believe this was her second time staying at this location. It is close to the stadium. Nothing was really going on in town so it wasn't very busy. The parking lot is around the corner underneath the expressway. It is a little sketchy back there. We did not have any problems with her car though. The hotel itself requires a card to come into the lobby. Check in was easy without any issues. The room was comfortable however we did not have the needed linens for the pool out and we didn't request them but we weren't given everything so heck we had to ask again. Our night was not very restful, there was a drunk person banging on doors for multiple minutes, we had to call security and they came up to remove them. Later that same evening there was a party in the hallway that woke up our smallest child and scared them half to death. I'm assuming because of St. Patrick's Day weekend and people just being tired of Covid. Breakfast was grab and go but because of daylight savings time we got up too late and were told it was not available however when we checked out there were still bags that we're sitting behind the counter. No real food options even around for breakfast, so be prepared to take your own food.

Hotel was nice. Staff nice. All was well until I noticed a bedbug. Checked in around 9am and left at 11am when I noticed the bedbug that I took a picture of. Notified front desk. I booked through a 3rd party. No refund from 3rd party. Nothing done for me from hotel. Complete waste of money.
