Great location but even more great employees Keri at the desk and the manager were fantastic and worked with us during the first big winter storm of the year they couldn’t have been more accommodating would recommend this hotel to anyone. !!
Above and beyond service with comfortable amenities. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. The pool was down momentarily but they generously offered for us to use their sister hotels pool, just across the parking lot. (Also, the pool was fixed within the hour) Everyone at the desk was genuinely helpful. The room was spacious and kitchen area great for prepping small meals. Fitness center large and we’ll equipped. Breakfast had everything we needed. Great location with sweeping views of the city, easily walkable across the bridges and between the 2 stadiums. Highly recommend, will revisit when in Pittsburgh.
The hotel is in a odd location if you're used to staying on Downtown. When the Clemente Bridge isn't closed, more easily accessible to get back downtown, but with the other bridge, not bad either. This hotel is surrounded by parking lots & a highway. Like LITERALLY a highway. Thankful for blackout shades & great windows. This isn't the nicest or the best hotel I've stayed in, but the location was the key. The rooms are DARK there just aren't enough lights. ONE mirror & when you're traveling with someone who applies their sunscreen in the mirror & you still have to do your own stuff, not awesome. The lobby was so so cool, very chill. TVs, great sitting areas & a bathroom (that was used by the public - not my favorite.) The gym is in the basement and smells like a basement. Soho is the attached restaurant & for a late night, post game, friend passed out in the room bite to eat & place to get some work done, it was great. The best thing this hotel had going for it was location for us. We were in town for the football game, we couldn't have gotten closer (unless the hyatt or residence had been available.)…
The hotel is directly across from PNC Park, ideal for Pittsburgh Pirates fans. The parking is abundant and secure, the rooms are comfortable (and could use a full length mirror). It would, however, be ideal if the elevators had key card access since this is a city center property. The star of the show is always the lively breakfast attendant. Can't have a bad day if your morning includes a visit to the lobby for breakfast. Jessika and Nicole at the front desk were also wonderfully helpful and professional, especially for young adults. There was, however, an unusual sign in the pool area about - sanitation. Overall, great location and a reliable Marriott limited service property.
Fantastic hotel; from clean rooms to singing breakfast attendants! Traveled in to watch some baseball games. Everyone made our stay wonderful! We’ll be back! Thank you to everyone working at this hotel
Nice hotel. Loved the area. Saw a baseball game and enjoyed being able to walk around. The staff was friendly and housekeeping helped me locate my keys that I left in the breakfast area! I looked everywhere. Thank you!
Our family stay here was perfect! We went to the Pirates game and the stadium was right across the street. The room was very clean, beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast and the crew was spot on! The breakfast staff was amazing! Super busy but they kept the tables clean and the buffet full and the trash cans were always cleaned out.
We stayed here for one night, to attend Anthocon across the river. The location is great, next door to the baseball stadium and an easy walk across the river into downtown. The staff are friendly and willing to help. The rooms are clean, spacious with very comfortable beds, multi-channel TV and a basic, if little out-dated bathroom. The air-con is efficient &, of course, noisy - a common issue with American hotels for some reason. The hotel has not been sized very well meaning the 2 lifts struggle during breakfast time and the breakfast area gets crowded fast. The SpingHill offers the same 'post COVID' simple buffet breakfast with basic packaged food like muffins, fruit and juices. We enjoyed our stay here and would return.
The rooms were clean spacious, included a kitchenette, and well cared for. The staff were all friendly and accomodating, including the desk intake, the breakfast help and room cleaners. We stayed four days and I was sorry to leave.
I stayed at Springhill suites last week on my way to Chicago. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was wonderful. I would definitely come back to see a Pittsburgh Steelers or penguins game. The hotel is very close to both stadiums and there are a ton of food options available as well. I would definitely recommend staying here to a friend.
