Very nice, clean room. The location is awesome for Market Square and the Strip District. On the pricey side, $35 a day valet parking. Friendly staff always greeted you. The high ceilings and the view of Downtown Pittsburgh were awesome. The area felt safe and the valet was quick. Found the shower pressure on the weak side, but the beds were very comfortable!! Definitely worth your consideration to stay if a deal can be found!!

Stayed here in September 2023. Was in town with my parents to see neighborhood where Great grandparents grew up and to see Moulin Rouge The Musical at Benedum Center. Lovely time walking downtown as weather was beautiful. We drove in from Ohio and easy experience with checking in, having our car valet, getting a room even before 3PM. Room overlooked convention center. Nice elevators and very spacious rooms with high ceilings. Walkable to restaurants, Andy Warhol Museum, and theaters. Wish I got to Heinz History Center but will be back in the next year.

A great experience in this city center hotel. Front desk staff was welcoming and fortunately for me, allowed early access to my room on my stay of one night in advance of our bicycle ride on the GAP rail trail. They allow bike storage in the hotel, so that’s very convenient. I left my kindle reader in my room when I checked out, and when I called the next day, they had found it and kept it for me. I never expected it to be returned, so I’m very pleased with this integrity. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet- what I expected in a Marriott, but not always what a guest gets. I would happily stay here again to enjoy more time in this surprisingly lovely city

My adult son and I took a last minute baseball trip for the Yankees - Pirates series. Looked at several locations downtown with price being a factor. After looking at several options (cheaper)...based on reviews we went with Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown despite higher price. Worth the cost! Clean, friendly hotel in great location. Walked to everything from PNC Park to Ephiphany Church (Catholic) to Market Square and other locations. Used workout facility each day and was super nice, clean and spacious. Everyone that worked at this hotel were friendly and helpful during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting downtown PGH!

First off, overpriced by about a 100. Second; the "alternate" cheaper parking option was closed and the charter school a few buildings down was letting out upon our arrival. Kids were running around everywhere and the handful of valet parking spots were being taken by very rude, ignorant folks picking up kids. The hotel, and the valets didn't seem to care that paying customers were left out having to drive around the block 5-6 times waiting for the insanity to end. The parents parking in the valet spots were feral and not to be messed with. All that for a $38 valet spot finally. Even tough they seemed to not care the spots were being taken by non-paying hotel customers, they were pleasant and easy to deal with once we got a spot. One out of three hotel employees we encountered were professional and seemed to appreciate their job. The rooms were ok, a little outdated. The shower was in bad shape. Sadly we were too afraid to use the shower because of the stained tub and large amount of mold and mildew. Aside from being close to many areas of interest, this hotel isnt a good choice - never again for us anyway. Zoom in on the pics.

We stayed two nights for a baseball game. Prices for all hotels downtown were through the roof for this weekend due to the Phillies being in town, so this ended up being one of the more affordable options. Front desk did their job at check in but was not very friendly. Room was nice and spacious with high ceiling. However, the floor is very noisy under the carpet both in the room and hallways which was very odd and distracting. The bathroom was clean but I found the previous occupant's coffee pod in the machine when I went to make coffee. We did not get housekeeping so not sure if we had to request it or they missed our room. We had breakfast both days at the Standard next door which was good but added $30 each day. When we got home, we discovered we were charged for parking even though we self-parked in the nearby garage. The charge is apparently going to be removed but just annoying to have to make the phone call. Overall decent hotel in a convenient location but not up to the Marriott standard of service and amenities.

This hotel has been remodeled recently and it's beautiful! The views are really good and the location cannot be beat. We were able to walk to everything downtown. It's a few blocks away from Heinz Hall. John Strain was the manager on duty when we arrived and we had a slight snafu with our linen and John can to our room personally to take care of it right away. He was amazing the entire time we were there. We are planning to stay there every time we are in Pittsburgh. Grab coffee, juice or a beer at The Strand next door. Thai food at Nicky's Thai Kitchen, the best!

This is our 3rd stay at Courtyard Pittsburg Downtown. We adore this hotel. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. The valet lane out front is convenient for easy loading and unloading, as well as a convenient spot for ride-share pickups and drop-offs. Our rooms are always clean and comfortable... spotless bathrooms, clean windows (when possible, request the city view - namely, Room 821 - it's perfect.) There are countless restaurants and bars in the area for an evening out. Try Cioppino's. Our last stay, we Uber'ed to this seafood restaurant. Their signature dish, Ciopinno, is incredible. I could go on, but after this many great weekends out in Pittsburgh, I felt compelled to leave a positive review for this hotel.

The greeting at the front desk was exceptional! We are Marriott Platinum Elite members so we were upgraded to a suite. The room was clean, beautiful, enormous and comfortable. Immediately after check in, the front desk lady called us to offer free Dracula the opera tickets. Another guest had checked in and couldn’t attend the performance. We were impressed that she called us. We decided to pass on the show but appreciated her offer. We stay at this hotel often when we stay downtown PIttsburgh and love it every time

This is the second time that I have stayed at this location. The rooms have shown quite a bit of age. At 2:00 am I was awaken by the room next door that apparently decided to have a party. My portfolio was incorrect when it was sent to me after check out. They left me on hold for nearly 20 minuets to get it straightened out. Remove several valet parking charges when I didn't have a card. I liked this property but will probably not stay again. Location is also getting somewhat sketchy in terms of neighborhood!
