When in Pittsburgh, The Best Hotel by far is The Renaissance! Located within walking distance of Heinz Field, and views from many rooms of the stadium, this hotel is situated in the middle of the theater district, near trendy restaurants. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by 1st Class Staff. Simone in reception is truly Exceptional! She...

Nice hotel. Very friendly. The rooms are small and the television takes forever to change the channel! However, it has a good restaurant; nice fitness room for a hotel; great location and in walking distance to Heinz field. Definitely would stay again.

The room and the view were absolutely gorgeous. Our view was the river. We truly enjoyed our stayed. We have never stayed in Pittsburgh, so this was a perfect introduction. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was great. We will definitely stay here again if we have an opportunity to return.

The most recent renovation of the building in the Pittsburgh Cultural District. Dating from 1904, the unique pillar and open atrium architecture lends itself to the name of the current Hotel. The interior has the details and charms of the bygone eras, while the rooms are updated, well appointed and have a Pittsburghese flair. Our King room had usable space...

The Renaissance Pittsburgh is a frequent destination. Since their upgrade, they've struggled to keep in together. On this visit, I asked to change from my initial room, which was next to the elevators, which are far from quiet. The second room to which I was assigned was missing a lamp next to the bed, and most of their rooms have...

We try to stay here whenever we are in town. The staff is great and I love the whiskey bar in the lobby. My wife loves the concierge level amenities. Short walk to the river and plenty of great restaurants. Parking across the street is convenient but when they switch from weekends to weekdays they double charge you. Skip the...

The hotel itself is beautiful! Great location with a gorgeous atrium and amazing views of the city. The parking is a nightmare. If you valet on the day of a Steeler game it's an extra $20, so $56 total. We chose to park in the garage across the street. It was $20, but had very tight spots for our truck...

The Renaissance hotel was wonderful! It has old world charm with new modern furnishings. The beds are comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Simone had the front desk made check in an ease and even gave me a drink voucher for the bar since it was my birthday. Steve the bartender was Awesome! Great drinks and conversation. I would...

We stayed at this hotel for the Penn State-Pittsburgh football game. The location is tremendous as it is right across the river from the stadiums. It is also close to a lot of the nightlife in Pittsburgh. There is also not a lot of traffic at the hotel when you are pulling up. The valet service was very good and...

The Renaissance was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is in an old building that has an interesting history. The interior was decorated for Christmas and was stunning. We received impeccable service from a friendly and professional staff. In particular we wanted to thank Erica, who surprised us during our stay after we told her that the four of us were college...
