When I booked this hotel it didn't mention it was in a really sketchy neighborhood, it made out the neighborhood was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet but I felt very unsafe, and even more unsafe walking around after the sun went down at night. But aside from the neighborhood it is a very close walk to... More

We rolled into Pittsburgh late evening and found this place on T.A. It turned out to be a delightful surprise. We stayed in the "new" wing, but it was so well done that we could hardly tell- it still had the aesthetic and charm of the older part of the building. It really did feel like a European Hotel, in... At nearly the last minute, my wife and I decided to take a short drive (2 hours) from our home town and stay overnight in Pittsburgh -- to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed everything, beginning with the hotel. Its location is close to downtown and within walking distance of a major Pittsburgh attraction -- the Andy Warhol... More

This hotel is a real treat. You get a historical building, very fair rates, nice, helpful and friendly staff, a delicous breakfast and a very polished and cute interior -- everything is perfect. It was very clean, the classical music during the breakfast was lovley and the neighborhood is close to downtown. It even has a shuttlebus to various areas... More

We are currently sitting on the veranda in the courtyard of the priory enjoying a veggie plate with garlic cheese spread. The staff is wonderful and we couldn't be happier!! Anna at the bar is one of the best staff we've ever met!! If you have a chance to stay here jump on it!!!

Our room was beautiful. There is a free shuttle back and forth to most places around the hotel. Drop off and pick up. We were there early before check in time and they suggested where we should go to eat and shop and the shuttle dropped us off. We missed the breakfast in the morning Staff was great and recommended... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Priory for an easy going weekend stay in Pittsburgh. The location was perfect! Everything we wanted to see was so close, and if our desired destination seemed just a bit too much for a walk, we could easily hop on the free shuttle for almost anywhere in a few mile radius. Everyone who... More

We had a wonderful stay and the Priory was very friendly. Shuttle was a great addition and we used it often. There was no fee for parking our vehicle which was a big plus. We will stay there again. The breakfast was nice to have available just enough for everyone's taste. Very clean Hotel.

What a lovely experience we had staying at the Priory Hotel. It was our first visit to Pittsburgh & the Priory Hotel was a big part of what made the trip so enjoyable. It is a charming hotel, with beautifully appointed rooms, centrally located to many of the cultural experiences Pittsburgh has to offer. But most especially, the staff at... More

Anyone reading this review and considering staying at The Priory, do not hesitate. It is a very nice change from chain hotels. From the moment you arrive you feel welcome. The staff are very friendly. The hotel and grounds are well kept. The rooms are lovely and very clean. Parking and a very nice breakfast with homemade pastries are included.... More
