Took my BFF to Pittsburgh overnight and so glad we choose this hotel! Although in a sketchy part of town, we felt safe. The price was great (including free parking) and the shuttle downtown was convenient, but it was much more than that. The beauty of the historic building and the way the hotel respected its history as a monastery... More

We were happy to find this hotel on the web and booked it for an overnight stay to see a Bruce Springsteen concert at the Consol Energy Center. What a historic gem! Our king room was completely modern yet it didn't lose the historic charm....tall ceilings, period decor, and well chosen antiques abound. The shuttle service to Consol was excellent!... More

Stayed her while in town for a Bruce Springsteen concert. Chose it for price and location but got so much more. Super convenient shuttle provided to and from The Console Energy Center. Rooms were beautiful and clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't make it to the complimentary breakfast but hear it was good. Parking right around... More

We had to make a trip to Pittsburgh for a family emergency. Usually we stay with friends, but couldn't for this trip. We wanted to be downtown, but not in a big, corporate hotel. The Priory was a great surprise. The price is very reasonable, the hotel is charming and authentic. Nicki, the bartender in the Monk's Bar, makes a... More

Clean king room. Easy check in. Fair price. Nice breakfast included. Shuttle that took us anywhere we wanted...like having our own driver. Small & very inviting bar. Delicious drink specials...bartender was cranky 20 minutes before close. Not cool. Off the beaten track. Not so much traffic near hotel. Four out of five stars from me!

This is a nice quiet property with pleasant staff and in a good central location. Close to Heinz field and PNC. Room was nice and well appointed. A very quaint place. I will stay there again without question.

The Priory is a charming use of a historic building. A refurbished monastery that was once scheduled for demolition until a community stepped in and held off its destruction. Located in once was historic Germantown this cozy hotel is within walking distance to the Heinz stadium and PNC park. They even offered transportation to some venues like the casino. Whether... Liked everything about our stay at the Priory . Take advantage of the free shuttle if you plan on going to the strip. make sure to check out the grand hall and the neighborhood too. The breakfast was generous as well.

Saved $50.00 parking fee for Steeler game by staying here (free shuttle or close enough to walk). The intimate on-site bar (and bartendress) lend an intimacy to this unique lodging. If you like places with a history and a "feel", just stay here for heaven's sake!! The breakfast itself and the room it's served in are bonuses to your visit.... More

This hotel is unique for sure. Cleanliness in the shower is less than to be desired. Mold building and visibly showing. Room 202 check it out. I had family in another room 222 and the furniture from a queen bedded to king bedded room was much better in the King room. Seems inconsistent. Nice venue for a wedding. I would... More
