We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is clean, but rooms are sparsely furnished. I would have liked to put my clothes in a drawer. We had to live out of the suitcase. It was convenient to downtown and I loved the complementary shuttle to downtown attractions. The freeway was right against our room but we got used to it....

We recently stayed here on day 6 of a whirlwind road trip. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk. Our room was not ready they took our bags for us. We returned 2 hours later to see if it was but there was literally a huge line of about 10 people trying to check in....

I stayed here when my daughter was a patient at a local hospital. When I came in late at night, the staff member was always pleasant and sympathetic to my long day. The free breakfast was beyond "continental". Very clean and comfortable room.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was very comfortable and quiet -- no train whistles or traffic noise. We booked a suite because there was not much of a difference in price between rooms types. Breakfast was very good -- lots of variety, clean breakfast area. We would definitely stay here again.

Probably our 8th or 9th stay this past weekend. Never dissatisfied. Only reason I can figure for the low rating based upon all the hotels in the Pittsburgh is the 15/20 minute drive to downtown. Always stay here when attending Pirates or Pens games. Always clean, staff always friendly and attentive. Used to stay next door when that building was...

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the proximity of the rail road whence, unfortunately one can be awaken couple of times a night by the piercing CHOO_CHOO sound of a passing train. Otherwise - its high marks all around. Check-in and out very prompt, staff very friendly, room was spacious and clean, equipped with Kurig coffeemaker &...

Stayed here for a week when I was in Pittsburgh. The hotel was remarkably neat, well maintained and ideal place to stay. No frills and no fuss - that's the policy of Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were spacious, amenities awesome, staff courteous, rates reasonable, location very convenient. Top notch stay basically.

Another great holiday inn express. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Free wifi, in room coffee, great water pressure in the shower, and the free breakfast was terrific. The staff was very friendly. The parking lot was well-lit. And although the hotel is next to the turnpike, the "traffic noise" was minimal. A+

We stayed here to visit my cousin who attends Pitt. It is about a 15 minute drive from the Pitt campus but very conveniently located near an entrance to the PA turnpike. We also choose this location because near the ice rink in Harmarville where my cousin plays hockey. We had room on the 1st floor across from the ice...

We arrived Friday afternoon, and the desk host was very pleasant to deal with. The hotel was very relaxing, fairly quiet for a Friday. We stayed until Sunday, then checked out. The food was very plentiful, (hot and cold choices), and good. The cook/kitchen help was able to talk some as the hotel was not too busy at the early...
