My partner and I were looking for a quick romantic getaway from Philadelphia and in my research came upon this charming inn and booked a 2 night stay in the Freedom Room. The property is beautiful with all the charms of history wrapped up in great hospitality from the inn keepers. the breakfast was scrumptious and the patio was a lovely place to sit and enjoy some bubbly. The innkeepers are amazing and very friendly but respect your private space. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again!
My fiance and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to just get away and we could not be any happier at our choice. Ed & Sherri were so welcoming from the start they greeted with a delicious snack and wine from a local winery. They made us feel so welcome, the inn is absolutely amazing. We were delighted with our room (Suite Victory). We truly felt so relax and away from everything which is exactly what we wanted. Breakfast was a delight every morning, and there are also so many things to do from great wineries to amazing restaurants. Ed & Sherri also provided us with things to do which were all great. I guarantee if you stay you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I recently stayed at the Galvanized American Inn and Art Gallery for a quick (and close) getaway for our anniversary. I read the reviews prior to staying and they were exactly as described! Ed and Sherri were without question, amazing. The house is beautiful and everything you would look for in a bed and breakfast or at least I can only assume. This was my first time staying at a B&B and if I have my way, I won't pick another one to try out. They were more then accommodating and extremely friendly. The house it self is extremely clean and the rooms are beautifully decorated. All of the artwork is amazing and created by Ed. Its very easy to tell they enjoy running this wonderful place. So many things to do within the area (if the weather cooperates) but the property it self is enough for a low key, relaxing weekend. I must say though, the breakfasts they served were hands down some of, if not the best breakfast food I've ever eaten. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!…
My sister is getting married this month, and in lieu of a nightlife bachelorette party, she opted for a weekend with some close strong female friends. Her wants were someplace close or in nature, affordable, easy going with activities close by. The Galvanized American Inn is literally 5 miles from Nockamixon Park (check), on the Bucks county wine trail (check ladies fun), and with the potential to book the whole Inn, it was a perfect fit. What I didn't expect, was the insane hospitality of our hosts (I could text anytime, request last minute creature comforts), and charm of the Inn that images online cannot capture sufficiently. The artwork is unique and a throw back to American tradition (highly recommend visiting in person if You're a collector's of fine unusual art), but beautifully placed and amazingly comfortable rooms. The grounds host a pool and unlike night skies, great running or riding routes, and a fire pit for late night bonding. As a small business during this insane time, they were compliant with all requests and mandated requirements. And STILL gave us an amazing B&B experience. The breakfasts were insanely delicious! And, our gracious hosts went beyond with dietary requirements for allergies or restrictions. If your looking for a getaway, wedding destination (small), or simply a place to appreciate some unique art....I highly recommend visiting Galvanized American Inn. Worth every single second of our ladies weekend! With much thanks, N…
My father, brother, and sister-in-law stayed at the inn for 4 nights at the end of August. We wanted to spend time together as a family, after only seeing each other outdoors a few times due to the pandemic. We all agreed to be tested for Covid-19 before our stay, and we were ecstatic that we all were negative. We chose the inn for several reasons: 1-location in bucolic Bucks County, PA, 2-We could have the whole in to ourselves, thus not having to worry about contact with anyone besides the wonderful hosts, Sherry and Ed 3-Each of the 4 bedrooms had a private en-suite full bath(We had rented out all 4 bedrooms, but my niece changed her mind at the last minute)4- There is a pool! 5- It is a B&B, offering a full breakfast each day 6-The hosts implemented high level sanitation and cleaning guidelines At our arrival, we were greeted by Ed and Sherry, and shown around the inn and property. Ed showed us some of his artwork on the tour, and explained the history of the inn, which was built as the home of a weaver in 1754. The renovations that Ed and Sherry had done kept the historical elements intact. We changed into our swimsuits, and were met at the pool bar by Ed with a choice of red or white wines (in acrylic glasses for safety) and homemade, and delicious, salsa and chips. Breakfast each morning on the patio started with coffee, fresh fruit and either homemade granola or banana bread. A choice of fresh squeezed juice was followed by the main course, ranging from lemon zest pancakes, to French toast, to frittatas. Homemade jam always accompanied the meal. Maple glazed bacon, ham and provolone roll ups, and Canadian bacon were also part of some of the breakfasts. Everything was homemade and delicious, and served safely by Ed and Sherry. They wore masks at all times. Our stay was wonderful. Ed and Sherry are fantastic hosts, making sure that their guests are comfortable and well taken care of. They were full of information about local attractions and restaurants. The location was great, within close proximity to Doylestown, New Hope, PA, and Lambertville, NJ. I highly recommend a visit to the inn. …
