My husband and I had a quick getaway and stayed in a cabin. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean it seemed- toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap provided. Air conditioners worked well, bed was comfortable. A few issues- a kitchen chair broke as my husband sat down on it, luckily he didn’t hit his head hard. But they replaced it immediately. We woke up with bug bites all over arms, legs, neck and face. We were planning on leaving after two nights anyway. It’s a nice, quiet place and right across from the street from swatara state park. Just check your bed carefully and bring old clothes and sheets to throw out when you’re done.

For years, our family rented 5 deluxe cabins and 3 campsites here very 4th of July weekend. However, last year one of our family members who were renting a cabin had a death in the family a couple of days before our rental time and we’re not able to come camping. They tried to cancel their reservations and open up the cabin for another family to rent it but Twin Grove would not allow it. They were uncaring and greedy and instead of refunding even a night or two to my family and opening up the cabin for another family to rent for the holiday weekend they refused to do anything to make this difficult time easier. So, this year and from now on they lost our family’s business (8 sites) and we are at another campground, Adventure Bound, Eagle’s Peak. I would be wary of using this campground as a choice.

I am pleased to report that the cat situation has been resolved. The initial review I added in Oct 2018 stated campground was overrun w/cats and I would never return. A friend stayed at Twin Grove last year and said, "she saw no cats" soooo, last Oct 2019 I reserved a site for the weekend and, lo & behold didn't see any cats. I came back in May 2020. again, am happy to say, "Twin Grove has eliminated the cats", and I would be remiss if I didn't thank the management for correcting this problem so swiftly. I/we love this campground and am happy to report management does try to correct problems/complaints in a timely fashion. We will gladly return again, and again!!!

Very clean campground with so much to do! Our site was level and fine for our camper(20 ft trailer). Full hook up site. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant on site is very good and we visited twice for lunch! Will be back again in 2020!

My family and I have stayed here every year for the 4th of July for the past 5 years. The morning we were supposed to leave my Stepfather passed away. It was unexpected and therefore we were not able to go. The management was incredibly rude and would not even consider a refund. We have 6 other family members that rent spots/cabins from them every year. You would think they would have a little bit of compassion as my kids lost their Grandfather as well as their vacation!
