We decided to have a quick getaway this past weekend and I'm happy I found a room at Mainstay. I read all the reviews and honestly I wasn't planning on spending all day in the room. I loved the location, plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars for those looking for a night scene. Our room an average size, considering my... More

Situated one step off the sidewalk in downtown Phoenixville. No luggage cart, approximately 6 steps up to lobby. Young man who checked us in was very friendly and also gave us a hand carrying luggage to room. Our room was small but very clean and all appliances were in good working condition. Our room was directly over the night club... More

Situated right in the middle of downtown Phoenixville. Location is great, everything is within walking distance. Rooms are a bit small but it's good for a one or 2 night stay if with family. Breakfast is basic, like cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit. There is also free coffee and cold water all day. Room was a bit dirty as there were... More

My mother and I had stayed here over the weekend while attending to RetroCon. We originally were going to cancel our reservations because we couldn't find any parking! You have the option of paying for street parking, parking at a shared lot about two blocks away, or hopefully find parking from the few spots offered. However, we were unaware of... More

This inn has a fantastic location and excellent staff but the hotel itself seems to have been mostly forgotten. The rooms are small, as can be expected from its age, but the beds are cheap, the walls and ceilings are worn and cracked. The pillows are the worst hotel pillows I have ever had and the towels are mismatched. Our... More

From the moment we walked in the front door, I said to myself, "Uh-oh". The young woman who checked us in was very nice, and offered to help us with our luggage. It was basically a clean room, but very tattered, and worn. Don't think I would have been comfortable staying there by myself. Door to room would have been... More

Like others have said, this is a bare bones type of hotel but it was clean and the price was half of what I usually pay just 4 miles down the road. Breakfast was adequate -- bagels, muffins, several types of fruit, and coffee. The location is close to many restaurants, cafes, and nice bars. I would definitely stay here... More

Many Hotels have overstated rooms, few amenities and cost through the roof. This place is bare bones, best location in the world and the Friendliest Staff in the world. Cost is low, room has few frills but all the needed amenities. Highly recommend if you need a great bed, decent TV, lots of places to go including great walking places.

In the middle of town so lots of activity outside hotel like fireworks Friday evening and a party with loud music on Saturday night. Parking sparse and a tight lot to get in and out of. Room was clean, fridge, microwave and tv with HBO, so I got to see Game of Thrones. Within walking distance to many nice restaurants,... More

Overall, everything was fine. The check-in was good, the room was clean, the beds comfy, the TV (well, it worked but we really didn't watch it) and there was a fridge and micro wave. Excellent location in the center of town, about 2 blks away from the Colonial Theater. There was coffee, fruit and bagels in the morning. And there... More
