Charming and clean. The owners were super friendly and most accommodating. My husband couldn't eat a few items due to a dietary restriction and they substituted different foods which was so nice of them! They have a coffee/tea bar with hot chocolate mixes and cookies that are always available along with a fresh baked brownie or cake of the day. Breakfasts were delish and portions very generous. I loved the peach French toast and my hubby loved their egg/potato/cheese frittata. Also this B&B has small wall mounted TV screens & CD players in each room providing cable service and a bookcase full of CD's in the puzzle room if you don't like what's on TV. All rooms have their own baths, they are on the small side, but you're talking about a house built in 1825, it's amazing they were able to add private showers at all. Hot water was plentiful when showering and they provided a cute basket of soaps/shampoos. The king bed was soft with nice linens (we stayed in the Mallard room). The only ding would be the duvet cover. I'm not a big fan of them since they make me too hot, but that's just my preference. If you love B&B's you won't be disappointed.... now I have to figure out how to make that peach french toast!

This is a beautiful interesting older building conveniently sited with very welcoming and gracious hosts. the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, with many well sourced ornaments and decorations, We enjoyed scrumptious homemade breakfasts. This place is well worth a stay when you're in the area.

Amazing! Don and Ellen put their guests first! They concern themselves with your comfort, dietary needs, and schedule. They are available to answer questions. They willingly share their beautiful home and gardens with each guest while making themselves scarce, so you can enjoy the accommodations in total privacy. The Inn was immaculately clean, with continuous coffee, tea, cold beverages and snacks available. Located nearby the Sweetest Place on Earth, Hershey PA, there was a never ending supply of chocolates. The beds were comfortable. Our visit was during the time of Covid-19 , the owners constantly wore masks , soap and sanitizer was available. Breakfast was served with social distancing clearly accommodated. And the food, to die for! Delicious homemade breakfasts, plated beautifully, and generously served. You won’t go wrong by staying here!

We recently stayed a night at the 1835 Inn Bed & Breakfast rather than at one of the larger hotel chains and couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. The quaint inn was immaculate and our room was spotless and comfortable. The decorations were tasteful and chosen to complement the room’s theme (each room having it’s own theme). The bed was so comfortable that we had to look at the label so that we could consider it for when we replace our own bed at home. Breakfast was delicious, complimentary hot beverages & cold drinks plentiful and various chocolates and candy were free for the taking! Don & Ellen, the Inn’s proprietors, were friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. It’s clear that they aim to ensure our stay was exceptional in every respect. The Inn was just a few minutes drive from the center of Hershey and was a great launching point for the numerous attractions in the area. When we go back to Hershey, we’ll definitely plan to stay there again!

This is a very well maintained B&B with a lot of history and charm. The grounds are pretty, and the rooms are tastefully decorated according to the period. Don and Ellen are attentive hosts, and Don in particular will go out of his way to accommodate your requests. It is clear that both hosts take pride in giving their guests an excellent experience. The location of the B&B is also very good - just slightly outside of Hershey, away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the breakfasts, which are clearly made with pride. (Note, however, that this meal leans toward comfort food, not lighter fare.) The hosts also provide candies, cookies, soda, bottled water, coffee, and tea throughout the B&B on a 24/7 basis.

In town for an event at the Hershey Theatre. Picked the inn based on location and price. Have spent many nights at the Hotel Hershey but was looking for more of a value. So glad the reviews for the inn did not disappoint. Absolutely charming from the interior to the grounds. Our Hershey Sweet suite was so clean, beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. I wish I stayed longer! The inn keepers pay attention to detail that make you feel appreciated and valued as a guest. The grounds are lovely to enjoy a stroll and stop at numerous locations for a cocktail and take in the peaceful setting! Breakfast is a bonus and served in a beautiful enclosed porch area. It was delicious! Complete with complimentary goodies accessed 24 hrs. What a treat! We will be back!

My family stayed two nights at the 1825 Inn. Our bed in the Sycamore Room was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft.
The breakfasts were delicious with fresh fruit and generous portions.
The coffee was good and chocolate treats available to snack on during the day were an added treat!

The gardens are lovely! There are many outdoor “rooms” with comfortable seating.

It was the perfect place to stay with my husband and siblings while in PA!

My husband and I chose to stay at the Inn for one night for a quick babymoon trip. We stayed in the Country Cottage and it was absolutely lovely. The entire property is so well planned and maintained, it's almost hard to believe! You can tell that the hosts take care and pride in every detail - nothing was missed or forgotten. It was a nice treat to have a private cottage away from the main house - we enjoyed our privacy and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect portion! We plan to stay again in the future. Thank you Don and Ellen!

Lovely, charming B&B in Hershey PA. We only had the pleasure of staying there one night, but we do plan on returning again for multiple nights. Fantastic old home with a terrific backyard. Super clean with the best sheets we have ever slept on. Our king bed room was well appointed with very tasteful decor that matched the home. The dining room is on the back of the house and had 24hr coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and snacks. Breakfast was fantastic. I got an Amish bake, fresh sliced bananas and strawberries and a pop over. Both meals had bacon, juice and coffee/tea. My wife had peach French toast and fresh sliced bananas and strawberries. We took our coffee on the huge patio, that also had a water feature, and sat at one of the two fire pits on the property. Great service and overall a wonderful experience. We would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone and we will be staying there again in the future.

We had an excellent time staying at 1825! Don and Ellen are such gracious hosts. I felt as though the rooms/inn had everything you would need for a quiet romantic stay. The breakfast was Amazing! Don is very attentive when serving each guest for breakfast. Don and Ellen have a beautiful energy about them which makes the stay so welcoming. There are Hershey treats almost everywhere in the common areas. Snacks as well as a common area fridge filled with beverages were always available.
They also have plugs for phones in the room. There is even a charge for those who have an electric car.
We would defintitely go back.

Probably not a good idea. We have patronized this B&B for the past 8 years and never saw children there.
