This was my second stay at 1825 Inn. Don and Ellen are fabulous hosts, so thoughtful and accommodating; making breakfast a bit early to fit my timeline. The breakfasts are what you would expect in a fine restaurant. There is ample supply of drinks and snacks available at any time you want. Enjoy a drink or even a meal on the back deck with gas fire pit. The rooms are nicely furnished with ample bedding & pillows. If you are visiting Hershey, I highly recommend the 1825 Inn for your stay.
In town for an event at the Hershey Theatre. Picked the inn based on location and price. Have spent many nights at the Hotel Hershey but was looking for more of a value. So glad the reviews for the inn did not disappoint. Absolutely charming from the interior to the grounds. Our Hershey Sweet suite was so clean, beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. I wish I stayed longer! The inn keepers pay attention to detail that make you feel appreciated and valued as a guest. The grounds are lovely to enjoy a stroll and stop at numerous locations for a cocktail and take in the peaceful setting! Breakfast is a bonus and served in a beautiful enclosed porch area. It was delicious! Complete with complimentary goodies accessed 24 hrs. What a treat! We will be back!
My husband and I stayed here during a weekend getaway in Hershey and we could not have imagined a more welcoming environment. Don and Ellen were incredible hosts, catering to our every need. The homemade breakfast each morning was delectable, and the inn was filled with games, puzzles, and information about local excursions and events. We look forward to staying here again! We wholeheartedly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to stay overnight in the area.
We were personally welcomed by Dan and Ellen. They gave us a tour and provided information about the Inn and walked us to our rooms. There were various rooms for reading, gaming, and dining. Most every room had little bowls of Hershey’s chocolate 😋 Every morning we were served a delicious homemade breakfast! Downtown Hershey was about 3 miles away. Dan and Ellen had great suggestions for lunch and dinner. This was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast, and we decided that when we travel we want to experience other Inns. We are hooked! Thank you Dan and Ellen.
The host was thorough with explaining everything about the Inn. Also, there were goodies for guests in every room. The room was tastefully appointed and impeccably clean. I will definitely go back again!! The breakfast was awesome, which included a large portion of quiche, bacon, apple scone, and a refreshing fruit cup. I requested tomatoe juice, which wasn't on the menu but the host was able to locate it!!
Whenever we are in or near Hershey, PA, we make it a point to book a room at this lovely bed and breakfast. The address is Palmyra, but it is convenient to Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Park, Hershey Fairgrounds, and the Giant Center. Just a short drive down the main thoroughfare and you are out of the craziness and tucked away in a historic home run by Don and Ellen. They are engaging, know a lot about the area, and make sure that you are comfortable. On our most recent visit, breakfast one morning was Peaches and Cream French Toast with sausage and fresh fruit, our choice of juice, and plenty of delicious coffee. Beds are comfortable; rooms are clean. In addition to several first floor common areas, guests can relax on an outdoor covered porch. And, as a bonus, you can trust their dinner recommendations,…
Great hospitality, awesome breakfast, clean room, manicured property. All in a quaint, country setting. Just be careful getting in and out of the driveway, the road is very busy. Overall, an awesome trip!
Don and Ellen were so welcoming and gracious. We rented out the entire Inn for our family to attend a wedding. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The sheets were luxurious (I ordered some) and every room had individual air-conditioning if needed. The breakfasts were delicious. They were able to accommodate vegitarian and food allergies and there was space for all 16 of us to eat together. They also had a small frig with water and sodas and snacks available at no charge. The covered outdoor deck had a propane fireplace and ample seating. There was also an area that had a wood firepit with seating. When I mentioned to Don that we would like to have a fire when we returned from dinner he had it already started for us! They went out of their way to make this stay wonderful for everyone! Whenever I return to this area I will be sure to stay here again!…
From a warm and genuine welcome, a really comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast - best B&B I've ever stayed in. Unexpected amenities include self serve coffee, tea, bottled waters, and Hershey treats around the clock!
Really. When my wife and I need a place to relax, unwind and feel at home we take in a night or two at this wonderful and charming inn. Whenever we travel we stay at and support B&Bs. Very few have the welcoming, clean and comfortable experience as the 1825. Don and Ellen are terrific!
