Much nicer than staying in a chain hotel for the night. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. Not far from a busy road, so that was impressive. Beautiful grounds for a walk after a long car ride. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a soak in the whirlpool tub. It was Monday and the restaurant was closed. We were disappointed that we couldn't try the food.

Really wanted to have a great review for the Hotel version of the property - but it all ended badly and would not trust this establishment going forward. Have left a personal message to get a call from the owner, which was never returned - even after having a rental car stolen right out of their parking lot. There is little to no lighting, no cameras and no security - front office was very nonchalant when reported the car stolen and called the police - no support from the office or staff - left dealing with a horrible experience by oneself (very low integrity all around) - again would have loved to stay at this venue a lot more over the coming years (was there up to 10 days in two weeks) but there is still a responsibility and higher level of trust people need to be held too. If all they want is your money - then fair warning!!!

While generally it was good, the website prior to our visit said there would be a full country breakfast. In fact, the make it yourself one was not as good as ones at other motels/inns. Since it was promised in the website, it was quite disappointing. Interestingly, the website has been changed since I mentioned this issue when there.

Room 502 location and cleanliness upon entering was very good. The rug had stains all over it or it needed a good cleaning. Furniture showing a lot of stains and beat up a bit. Saggy coach and when I picked up one of the cushions to raise the height of seating area it was full of food crumbs etc. Everything worked properly and I enjoyed the bubble tub twice. I was there for four nights and was not resupplied with amenities unless I specifically asked or went to registration to get coffee for the next day. To go breakfast only' which was pastry, yogurt, apples, and instant oatmeal. I thought a Bed and Breakfast provided breakfast. For some reason the air conditioning made the room exceptionally cold. Even though upper 80's outside way too cold. Turned off the AC for 2 days before I stopped wearing a jacket. I also missed access to a microwave at least in a common guest area since I understand that the fire insurance would be exorbitant in those renovated old homes. They must be used to short stays there.

We had stayed at the Inn 2 years ago for our wedding night as a gift and had a bad experience with our room, dirty, whole in the ceiling and lots of mold in the shower, but decided to give a second chance for my birthday since we loved the breakfast and land. The room we stayed Allman room omg it was horrible! Spiders EVERYWHERE, spider eggs EVERYWHERE, the smell in that room was unbearable, the bed was broken had dust all over the place, the room looked like it had never been vacuumed, the bathroom had black mold on tiles and also the grout was pink, meaning it needs a deep clean! Now the jacuzzi area good god, bugs inside the jacuzzi mold with fuzzy stuff growing on the rock, again spider webs all over the place, spider eggs and dust! I don’t think this room has ever been cleaned. Thankfully the young lady at front desk was very nice and provided us with another room that was way cleaner! We did notice “Housekeeping” went to our original room to “clean” and she literally took to say the least 15 minutes and that room needs a CLEAN. Also breakfast was baaaad! Bagels had MOLD, my husband and another lady had to give back the bagels because it had visible mold, eggs where fake eggs, bacon, horrible waffles that tasted like plastic and fruit that’s it. Our stay 2 years ago breakfast was outstanding, this second time around not so much. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
