We had a wonderful time and were treated like an old friend. The rooms were quaint and the porches homey and relaxing. The breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise as it was homemade with good service. We would go back and enjoy their hospitality again.

Just a few dozen steps from the often noisy main street of New Hope is this secluded B&B which provides a quiet and very comfortable retreat within easy walking distance of local restaurants in both New Hope and its New Jersey neighbor just across the bridge. The rooms are situated in four houses at the end of an alley and... More

My family and I had such a lovely stay at Porches last summer we went back again this year! Tucked along the historic (and enchanting) Delaware Canal Towpath, Porches is like something out of a picture book. The gorgeous overgrown garden is filled with surprises from the gazebo hidden in the back to the little frogs hopping across your path... More

Porch, Porch, Porch... Our stay lasted 3 days and every day was unforgettable. Every room has access to a porch/balcony that you can sit back, relax, listen to birds, viewing the green garden, see the canal and watching people go by on the towpath; running, walking, or riding a bicycle. Everything is within walking distance from the inn: restaurants (Nektar,... More

The Porches on the Towpath may not be easy to find in New Hope but it sure is worth the search. Hidden away off the main street it is gem of an experience in a B&B that has many different looks and gardens and an owner, John, who goes out of his way to be inviting and to make your... More

We stayed at Porches recently on a quick trip to New Hope (one night). Delightful little B&B with an ideal location for touring New Hope (1 minute walk to Main Street & parking on site). Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Stayed in room #10 – romantic & cozy (skylight in the shower), a bit small but perfect for get-away... More

Such a wonderful property, tucked in a lovely garden, only steps away from the bustle of Main Street. John & his wonderful crew have thought of everything to help you relax & the decor is a wonderful mix of fine English antiques & lavish creature comforts. With the smaller rooms at a thrifty rate, splurge & take one of the... More

Where do I begin. The place is overrun with weeds. Both the inside and outside look as though they have not been cleaned in years. Both inside and outside are very uninviting. Came in from a very hot and humid day and asked for a cold drink. Not only are there no cold drinks, but no snacks for guests. What... More

I found this place by the reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint! My mom, sister, grandma and I wanted a little two night girls trip during the week and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Centrally located in New Hope and a short walk to Lambertville nj, this lovely place offered everything we needed. First... More

My husband and I stopped in New Hope on our way back home. I had made a reservation at Porches based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We were only staying one night so I wanted a place where we could be in the center of town to get the most out of our short stay. Sean welcomed us and let us... More
