I have stayed at Porches many times over many years (more than I would like to admit!) This cozy B&B located in central New Hope has always been a great place of get away stress reliever. All of the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The porches on the main house are great for sitting out and enjoying a cold beer...

Spent an overnight there recently; Sean seemed to be holding down the fort solo-he was very charming and offered up lots of meal suggestions as well as sharing his wonderful pizzelles-yum. New Hope and the inn seem a bit tired; a look with fresh eyes could do both a world of good but it was nice to walk around NH...

Had a wonderful weekend. Rooms are small but you know when you go that it is an old home built in 1812. View was great and food delicious. The best part of all was the hospitality you received. Bob who manages couldn't have been better. He was such a pleasure to all who came. Went out of his way to...

My husband and I celebrated our two-year anniversary in New Hope this week, with a stay at Porches on the Towpath. First of all, dealing with Porches on the phone was a pleasant experience so I knew we'd get great customer service when we stayed there. Sean greeted us when we arrived and showed us around Room 12. We loved...

Had a delightful stay at Porches on the Towpath for a few days for Thanksgiving. First, I would like to say that the entire staff is so warm, friendly and accommodating. They really make you feel welcome. The owner, John, was wonderful...great to talk to and made sure everything ran smoothly. The cooking staff (Red Jen, Bob and one other...

This was an amazing find! John the owner is engaging and helps you to feel like you are staying with family. I won a door prize from Action Wellness (formerly Action Aids) in Philadelphia (where I volunteer) and decided to come and check it out! I have heard about porches numerous times and was very pleased with the location, ambience,...

My wife and I just returned from our second stay at Porches. Our first was two years ago, and when we decided that we wanted to return to the New Hope area again, they were the first people I contacted and thank goodness they had a room! We love Porches and can't wait to go back. Great breakfast in the...

My wife and I are habitual travelers to Bucks County PA in the fall. Always fall/always over Halloween. Bucks County has beautiful fall colors, great antique shops, live music and fabulous food and quaint country B&B's and Inns. Porches is a sort of hybrid with a friendly, accommodating owner, delicious, large breakfasts, tons of antique decorations, comfortable beds, porches to...

While there may be many excellent times to visit New Hope, the fall (September - October especially) is really grand. And while there are many B & B's in which to stay (all quite nice, by the way), I fund Porches on the Towpath to be the most reasonable. This is a quaint historic building with, literally porches wrapping around...
