Great place! We had the pleasure of having the owner, Lisa, taking care of us. She was so hospitable. She filled us in on the history of the town and where to see the best sights. She also prepared us the most wonderful breakfast and was most accommodating as we had a “picky” eater with us. Be sure you get a piece of their delicious homemade bread. The Inn is spotless and the beds were comfy. If you love touring small towns with beautiful old homes, be sure to drive out to the villages of Lumberville and Point Pleasant.

We stopped in New Hope to break up our trip further north & happy we picked the Fox & Hound. We stayed in a garden room on the first floor. The room is cozy & has a very nice little patio where we could read & drink coffee. The breakfasts were wonderful, & check in was easy. We enjoyed meeting Lisa, Mike, & Kathy during our stay. Kathy even made us a quick to go bag of fresh made banana bread for our next leg of our journey. We visited Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve during our stay & really enjoyed it.

This historic Bed and Breakfast its charming, personnel are friendly and the owners were there for breakfast. It was one of the few location that offered a one night stay. Many have a minimum of 2 nights. We stayed at suite No. 2 on the second floor at the back with a balcony. Very spacious and nicely decorated. Freshly cooked breakfast was served on a small dinning room. There is no bottled water nor coffee machine on rooms. Coffe is available at the dinning room. It is a very welcoming location it has parking and gardens. You can sit outside. This location is not far from the busy New Hope center, It’s a 15 mins walk.

The entire place was cozy and just as advertised. The staff was lovely and accommodating. They took the time to find out what we were looking to do while in town and provided lists and recommendations while also making us feel right at home. One of the mornings we opted for the breakfast in bed option and were delighted to be served a home cooked meal of French toast and bacon. Our 2 night stay was so wonderful and I can’t wait to book it again. It was a perfect romantic escape for parents who needed a break

The Fox & Hound is a lovely B&B. It has one room that can be set up with two twin beds, and I know from experience that it's hard, when traveling with a friend as I was, to find a 2-bed setup in B&Bs. So that was a plus, as were the delicious hot breakfasts. The large old house is charming. Kathy, who was on site, was warm and very responsive when we needed something. She was also able to answer questions about everything from where to pick up sandwiches to where to see a non-superhero movie. We hope to come back here, perhaps in the warmer weather when we'd be able to make use of the attractive outdoor spaces on the property!

Innkeeper Kathy is delightful. She was attentive to our needs and made beautiful breakfasts for us at times that agreed with our schedule. The Fox and Hound B&B has a comforting, homey feeling to it, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

This is by far one of they best bnb I’ve been too! Kathy was an amazing host and great cook, the room was immaculately clean and the bed was really comfortable, I can’t wait to visit again and make more memories! I sincerely encourage anyone visiting the new hope area to stay at the fox and hound it’s worth every penny, thanks again Brian

My wife and I stayed at this older historic B&B over Thanksgiving eve. Our first floor room was rather small but quaint and offered us a lovely outside patio to enjoy our early morning coffee before breakfast. There were no housekeeping services because of Thanksgiving, but Rebecca took very good care of our needs including cooking us a nice breakfast. Our room had a small wall fireplace which we used to warm the room before turning in for the night. The inn offers wonderful parking and their location provides an easy walk to downtown New Hope for shopping and dining. Our stay was short but enjoyable.
