Beautiful Inn filled with so much charm, character & history. Hosts are friendly and make you feel like you’re home. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was super comfortable! Room was clean. Homemade heart cookies and homemade almond liquor was left in the room for us. Perfection!
My wife and I had the privilege to spend the weekend at The Wedgwood B&B located in New Hope, Pa. We had a queen room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace, which was a really nice touch! The bed was super comfortable and everything was really clean. Our breakfast was delivered to us at our requested time along with 2 pots of coffee. I couldn't make this breakfast at home like they did. Very fresh and extraordinarily tasty! Never a need to go to any other inn in New Hope. There is a good reason why The Wedgewood has been in business for over 40 years, bgo see for yourself!
We wanted to celebrate our anniversary and our birthdays. It started out as a lovely celebration. We combined the stay with seeing a wonderful production at the Bucks County Playhouse. We were greeted early. We were offered refreshments in a lovely parlor room surrounded by antique Wedgewood China. There was even a Barbie Wedgewood Doll in the room. It was warm and had a lovely fire 🔥 welcoming us. Our room was ready. It was small but cozy. The bathroom had all the essentials but only one person at a time. It really wasn’t upsetting. The room was cold but we were shown how to turn on the “ Franklin Stove”. We probably should have done so before we left to attend the theater & dinner. We arrived back to the Inn at approximately 7 pm. The room was freezing. It took some manipulation but the room became warm & cozy. During the evening at 11pm, the heater (stove) turned off. We had no idea how to remedy the situation. We have a gas fireplace at home. My husband is able to solve issues but he realized that the gas was turned off. By 12 midnight, the temperature in the room was freezing. This morning, my husband tried again to turn on the stove as he was instructed. We haven’t had breakfast as yet. Hopefully, it will help warm us. This was disappointing.…
My wife and I loved everything. The Innkeepers have a passion for the property, area and all that they do. Room super clean, Food really good , vibe the best. Sitting on the back porch , taking it all in , my wife said - this is now my favorite place.
This is a lovely Inn that is in walking distance to downtown New Hope and Lamberville. The innkeepers are friendly and very helpful suggesting restaurants and things to do in the area. Breakfast was wonderful and served on beautiful China. Bed was very comfortable.
The inn was recommended by a friend knowing we've been to the area before. The atmosphere is comforting and lots to look at. The grounds were beautiful and the room was unbelievable clean. Bathroom a bit small for my comfort but clean and doable for a night or two. We will consider a stay there again!
Wedgwood Inn is a bed and breakfast located in walking distance to the main street of New Hope that is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. Carl & Dini were very hospitable hosts by giving me a grand tour of the property and explaining how this historical building was part of a fort during the Revolutionary War and a stop on the underground railroad. My room was cozy and I loved the fact that my room had a balcony where I had the opportunity to enjoy my morning tea and enjoy the fresh morning air. The breakfast was filling, delicious and plentiful. The homemade granola was divine and enhanced the yogurt that was provided. I wish I could have taken a jar home with me. For my first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast, the Wedgwood Inn set the standard and I would highly recommend you book your stay if you are intending to visit the New Hope area. …
This is by far the best B&B in New Hope, the rooms, the grounds and everything else there is above and beond. The innkeepers Carl and Dinie are unbelievably passionate about this place, and it shows in their welcoming attitude toward all their guest. They truly make you feel like family whether it's your first time or a returning guest. Run don't walk to this unique B&B you will not be disappointed in any way.
The entire Inn is beautiful, both inside and out. Very nicely decorated and well-kept. It is easy to find, conveniently located within short walking distance of many local attractions (shopping, train station, restaurants, play theater, etc.) The staff is extraordinary - always friendly, accomodating, and full of great local history and recommendations. The breakfast is always fresh and varies each day. It is reasonably priced for both weekday and weekend rates, and well worth every penny. Our family has stayed at the Wedgwood Inn for a December vacation every year since 2018 and have no plans of changing in the years ahead.
What a cool place to stay. There is so much history in this house. Stayed in a room with a king bed, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. We learned the next day that this house is actually haunted by a 12 year old girl who died there during the underground railroad. Besides our alarm clock radio coming on by itself, nothing happened to indicate that this house was actually haunted. In talking with the owners, we learned that the ghost only presents herself to other 12 year old children. Our room was awesome and breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning.... and what a spread it was! Fantastic food. The owners also told us all about the underground room they found during restoration which was probably used during the underground railroad to hide people. At one time there was a hidden staircase which led to this secret room (and the door to it was actually the closet in our room). George Washington lived across the street and some of his staff lived in this house. It's just full of history. This was my first time staying in a B&B and I was quite shocked at how cool it was. I always had a negative outlook on the whole B&B experience. I am very glad I stayed here. Slept good and it was quiet at night. Stay here if you get the chance! Perfect walking distance to all downtown shops.…
