I absolutely loved it and got out of it what I was looking for - R&R. The house was quiet, I had my privacy, and the Gala Room was exactly how I envisioned it. Loved the ambiance! Carl went above and beyond every time and the breakfasts were delicious. He is full of info about the area and was always at the ready to offer tips on where to eat, where to go, etc. He could not have been more accommodating.

Booked this for a weekend back in March. Then COVID hit - and I called Carl and he moved us to mid July. Thankfully things opened back up and we were able to make our trip. A delightful B&B with clean and charming rooms. The breakfast is AMAZING - Carl clearly loves what he does and puts his heart and soul into it. He is also a great host, ready with some excellent restaurant tips. When you're there, make sure to check out Lititz - I had been there a long time ago, but Carl recommended it and so I went again - it is a wonderful place. Highly recommend Harvest Moon for your next Lancaster vacation.

From the initial phone call to book a room at the harvest moon, our experience was above and beyond. Super accommodating, fantastic room with a great spa tub. The overall vibe of this establishment exudes tremendous pride in every detail. From the decor to the reading material provided in the rooms, to the delicious homeade treats and warm, generous vibes. Grateful to the owner for being so gracious and a master at the craft of hospitality. Overall Magickal experience that i feel i will return to once again and highly reccomend.

The Harvest Moon Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful Victorian home decorated with a variety of antiques. Its location makes it easy to find, and is close to a large choice of things to do, like; antiquing, family theme parks, factory outlet shopping, seeing and experiencing the Amish, and a variety of restaurants. Carl treats all his guests like a friend or family member, and is very knowledgeable about things to do or places to eat in the area. He keeps the B&B clean and neat, and always has some homemade treats or snacks available. There is also always water, soda, tea or coffee available. As for breakfast you can see that Carl is an accomplished chef. Every breakfast is made fresh and from locally found, in season, ingredients and is the perfect portion. Because of the location of the B&B there is always something different to do or see no matter the time of the year you visit. The price is very reasonable compared to other B&B's and hotels in the area. The B&B offers eight different packages you can add to your stay to make it even more enjoyable. We have stayed there on four different weekends in nine months, and plan to stay at a minimum every four month in the future. We have recommended staying here to all of family and friends.…

Love, love, love Harvest Moon Bed & Breakfast! Carl is an awesome host! The food was delicious and the Inn is very well kept, clean and very comfortable. Love the decor and homey feel. Carl was extremely accommodating with dietary limitations and we can't wait to return to the area so we can visit again 😊

From the first walk up the flowering path to our farewell on the roomy front porch, our time at Harvest Moon was a comfort and a delight. Carl's true kindness and hospitality is evident everywhere--he welcomed us warmly and then, assured that we were happily settled, gave our family ample space to enjoy our time together. Carl is a first rate chef who brings his decades of experience to each carefully crafted breakfast. We truly savored our nights at Harvest Moon. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lancaster County!

My family and I had the pleasure of spending 2 wonderful nights at this B&B in the heart of Lancaster County and Amish Country. Chef and Inn Keeper Carl is gracious and accommodating. Breakfast of fresh fruit/biscuits and gravy one morning, next morning French toast, with poached pears and local sausages. Rooms we stayed in were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of area to spread out. Sitting on the front porch watching Main Street action (plenty of cool places to walk to) or out back looking over farmland in his backyard with fire pit and magical string lights. Best of both worlds! Charming! We LOVED IT! Anytime of year would be perfect there. Thank you Carl! We will be back!

The beginning of fall is a wonderful time to visit. Still warm with the summer just behind and cool nights invite the warm glow of the fire. You captured it all and I am so happy you enjoyed it. Be sure to put December on your visit list next time around. Lancaster is magical during the holiday season and we at the Harvest Moon make sure your holiday travel plans are perfect. This is a charming place to stay. Rooms are small but with all the facilities required. The host, Carl,is the real star of any stay here. Chatty, without being intrusive, informative (he gave us great ideas and recommendations for dining, shopping, places of interest and beauty) and cooks breakfasts away from the usual fare but absolutely delicious. Will definitely return if we go back to PA and hope he looks us up when he comes to Edinburgh, Scotland.😊

Harvest Moon is a great place to stay in Lancaster/Amish country. It is easily located on the main street of New Holland and is 10 minutes away from some great, authentic Amish businesses and farms. Carl goes out of his way to greet guests and to make them welcome. His breakfasts are DELICIOUS, varied and just the right size. We stayed an extra day to explore Amish country and he laid out a full itinerary for us with many helpful insider tips. The rooms are lovely and, if you can get one of the suites, HUGE! I'll definitely stay with Carl again next time I am in the area.
