This is a our second sojourn at the historic Stone Manse Inn that exudes a memorable warmth and rustic charm. The innkeepers, Myra and Phil, are so accommodating and such welcoming hosts. We really enjoy staying there for the weekend, when we attend a Penn State home football game.

We were greeted by the husband who the first thing said to us was that we were late. I gave them an estimated time between two and three it was 305. We then had to go over a long list of rules which included not to open the windows the shades and to keep our things locked at all times. We were then told we needed to remain quiet at all times. It was a little much. We were told to be at breakfast at 8:30 we went down at 8:40 after a very long two days worth of travel only to find a note that breakfast was in the fridge. It was Hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Nothing exciting and worth getting out of bed for. For the price you’ll find something a lot nicer I assure you

My wife and I decided to stay at a B&B this trip back to PA to visit family. We absolutely love historic buildings , as well as B&Bs. The Stone Manse Inn will check off all your wants. We chose the guest house and it was a great choice. The owners/ inn keepers are fabulous. They really cater to their guests. As part of our stay we were treated to a tour of the “house” and we were in love. We will stay here every trip we make to visit family, trying each room. Anyone, traveler to resident of the area, should not pass a stay at this delightful B&B.

Our fourth Thanksgiving staying with Myra and Phil in the dwelling that has the longest continual occupancy in York county. Clean, modern accommodations in a rustic, beautiful setting overlooking the Yellow Breeches Creek. Myra and Phil are the finest, warmest, friendliest couple who add their special touch to this beautiful property. Our highest recommendation while in the greater Harrisburg area.

My husband and I stayed here on the way back from visiting a friend. It was our first B & B experience and it was lovely! Phil & Myra were wonderful hosts. We will definitely consider going back when we are again in the area.

A beautiful place with a lot of history from the 1700's. The building and rooms are amazing. Phil & Myra were very hospitable. Phil cooked breakfast for us two days we were there. Very quit place. Wanted to see more of the grounds but was raining both days. Not for handicap.(old time stairs)

What a wonderful discovery! The Stone Manse Inn is a lovely, immaculately maintained house dating back to the 1800s and Myra and Phil are wonderful detail-oriented hosts. The location, under ten minutes from downtown Harrisburg is fabulous. The nearby National Civil War Museum is well worth a visit. We loved our room - the Oolite - spacious and charming with a comfortable queen bed as well as the hearty breakfast. We will certainly return!

Myra and Phil are the best hosts! We stayed there a few years ago and they remembered details about us! They welcomed us like we were family. The welcome chalkboard in the room was a nice addition. I jokingly mentioned to them a menu item I had on our last visit and amazingly Phil had it prepared for breakfast! We only stay at b&b's when we travel and this place is truly the best one. Total class. We will be back soon!

Staying in the Columbite Room during a business trip was a delightful way to close each day. An example of the hosts' thoughtfulness was that coffee and teas were available in the room, including a wonderful high quality herbal tea, that I made and enjoyed every night outside on the porch swing. While I left before most breakfasts were served, they left a muffin or fresh fruit in the dining room for me. I would return to the Stone Manse as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Those thick stone walls create a sense of restfulness and peace that is nearly palpable. I loved my stay.

Myra and Phil were such kind hosts! This was our first B&B experience and it was a great one. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be staying again if we are ever in the area!
