Such a cozy inn. Our room was very comfortable, our hosts were so thoughtful, and the breakfast was amazing. Lancaster is such a beautiful place to visit. We stopped in a winery to buy local wine; and found wonderful Amish bread in local market. We even shopped at the outlet mall, lucky for us it was open on Sunday, because... More

We just returned from a delightfully renewing weekend at the lovely Churchtown Inn in picturesque Lancaster County, PA and dancing in nearby Birdsboro. Far more than bed and meal, Churchtown Inn is a sensual adventure that celebrates youthful romance and simplicity. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Chris & Jim, our hosts and offered a tour of the history... More

The cottage at Poole Forge is charming; nice to look out your door to a covered bridge and mansion. It does have steps that might be an issue for some; the cottage is in a public park so you are not completely alone. There were several groups of people having a cookout and enjoying the space. Parking is provided by... More

The room was very small and the bed was lumpy. It was not as nice as it appeared in the online picture. There was very little near by and so a car is required. The local pubs are very local and the smoke in one was overwhelming. We had to drive about 20 minutes to a golf course for dinner.

Just wanted to say this is our 4th time at this Bed and Breakfast and it is the best one we have ever stayed in. Inn keepers Jim and Chris Farr are such wonderful people. They serve the best breakfast around and make sure they cater to all your needs. Jim is full of information about the history of the... More

Delightful B&B. Super room accommodation for us and our granddaughter. Treated to a four course breakfast in the morning. Upon our return in the afternoon, our room was serviced with fresh towels and the beds made new. Jim and Chris are super nice hosts!

Thank you for your review and sharing your concerns. We are sorry that you did not have enough soap during your visit; we agree that you should have had extra soaps put into your room and will make sure to increase our amount of toiletries in the future. In an effort to conserve water, our bathrooms have small signs inviting... More

We had the best week-end up there yet. Jim and Chris are so friendly and they always make us feel like this is OUR home away from home. Breakfast is absolutely amazing and Chris is an excellent CHEF. Cannot wait to go back again for Labor Day week-end! Wish it was sooner! FranMahoney2016
